It is located in a safe and central area. It’s like 5 minutes away from Santander Park, and 15 minutes from the port (walking). There are supermarkets very near here. The beds are comfortable and there are no mosquitoes

the staff at hipilandia were very friendly and organized free airport transfer/met us at the airport! additionally they provided us with a lot of information regarding the “slow boat” to iquitos and sell hammocks on site. they also run tours, which we did not know until arrival so we didn’t get a chance to check them out. hostel provided secure luggage storage while we were on our 3 day amazon tour.

our room looked out onto the kitchen/courtyard, and bigger blinds were needed for privacy. didn’t feel the most secure given simple padlocks on doors. our private room/ensuite had some ants in the bathroom but wasn’t too bad.

I enjoyed my stay very much. Dorms and bathroom were clean and comfortable, staff was very friendly and delicious breakfast. Super chilled atmosphere and also good located, few minutes from city center.

Awesome stay! The bed is just the best I've ever had in any hostel. Super comfy and the host is very friendly. Perfect location near everything in Leticia. This is not my first time at Hipilandia Hostels but definitely my favorite one. Thanks for the service again!
