Let me check out an hour later than check out time and I could store my bag there (however, that is kind of ordinary service).

Booked a room for 6 people, but that was somehow booked out, so I ended up in a room for 8 and still had to pay 2 euros more!!! No excuse or anything, personal treated me like it was MY FAULT they sold something online that did not exists. But the worst of all were the animals already living in the mattress and sheets. I got eaten alive during the night and was not able to sleep for hours. By FAR the worst night on the entire continent!!!

Location was good

The woman at the reception was very rude. When we arrived her welcoming was very cold. Also after checkout we had to stay for a couple of extra minutes and wanted to make use of the kitchen facilities, but because we already checked out she didn't let us and started screaming at us when we just wanted to eat a bowl of cereal. Also the room was very cold and you had to get outside (where it was even colder) to go to the bathroom.

The hostel is cosy and clean, good value for money. Even if the booking and pricing could be more professional / transparent.

The triple room has only a half finished, partition wall between it and the reception/kitchen area. Too loud to sleep in there

It has a great arquitecture, an open space and a lot of chill oportunities. In summer it must be a great place to cool of from the hot days. The bathroom next to the reception is great!!! Kitchen is very good as well.

As great as the open space must be in the summer, in winter it's just getting cold and the only warm place is your bed.

Kitchen was very equipped, staff very friendly, nice patio to eat or smoke!

There is no age limit and during the night I felt a little bit unsafe. Mattresses were quite thin.

Great location, housed in beautiful building, not expensive, and friendly/helpful staff (with one exception listed below)

The older lady that works there has some major emotional/behavioural issues that needs addressed, especially considering that she works in the service industry. Never in all my travel experience have I encountered anyone so odious & rude. On the day of checkout, as me & my friend were leaving for coffee, she decided to try get my attention from another room by making loud "tsch tsch" sounds (aka the sound you make with your pet dog. She then bluntly told me it was check out and to bring my things. I told her that I had put everything in my bag & it was by my friend's bed (who was staying longer). The receptionist the day before told both of us it was ok to do this during check-out, so I asked if it was ok as my things were out of the way and she just made a face and said "bien!". When we came back later, she had totally flipped her lid and was acting very erratically over my bag being in the dorm room. She confronted me & started arguing that checkout was several hours ago, which wasn't the problem considering that I had already checked out. She then tried to belittle me for my non-perfect Spanish, starting moving and touching my friend's things who was still checked in. She then started with the whole vile antagonising "tsch" thing again, and started arguing with my friend too. She then proceeded to give a huge spiel to my friend about me & how wrong it was with her back to me the whole time, & said that I needed to pay for the bag, but that it was ok for my friend when she checked out, despite the 1 hour difference in flight time. I told her this should have been discussed before, and that I will just be leaving now. She then changed her demeanour not 5 minutes later, when I was transferring a couple of my things, acting all meek and modest, with her sweet little "por favor" and "gracias" for moving my bag. Such strange jekyll and hyde behaviour.

Everything was perfect! The price was more than correct, the receptionist and people who were working in the hostel were smily and great ! I really love this hostel in the centre of Salta! It's very familiar! Definitely recommend it ☺️

The so-called garden is a closed-in patio on the second floor of the building. Misrepresentation. Should correct.
