7 minute drive to downtown Collingwood. Great location if you have a car. Not really a pedestrian location. That said, really nice property, clean, comfortable and suited for a couple.

The property is charming, quiet, clean and was well prepared for our arrival. John and Cheryl were friendly hosts, easily accessible prior and during the stay. Great location just minutes from the historic downtown of Collingwood and a 15 minute drive to Blue mountain skiing. We would happily book again for an easy relaxing stay!

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary and it was the perfect accommodation for the two of us. The pictures are accurate, the farmhouse is very clean and modern, and the location is close to Collingwood. The check in/check out was easy and the host was very responsive.

Exactly as advertised - wonderful 2 days

Thank you John for allowing us to enjoy your property, as we drove in the driveway this beautiful house was front and center and the inside held the same beauty. The location was perfect for everything we wanted to do, the village to downtown for dinner. It's also just a short distance from the bike trails and the side road is quite enough to ride comfortably. You get the quite of the country to enjoy special moments, we defintely hope to return soon.

Perfect place to get away from city life and enjoy the outdoors! We have stayed at both of Johns properties and would highly recommend any of the two when visiting Collingwood!

Wonderful place to stay for couples! Place has everything you need and offers a quiet oasis just outside of Collingwood downtown. Our only suggestion would be a ceiling fan in the upstairs bedroom. Big temperature difference from the air conditioned main floor and the upstairs was quite warm.

The cabin we stayed in was very nice and the grounds and property is extremely well maintained. Host was prompt and friendly on check-in and check out. We look forward to checking out the other cabins on the property in the future.

Perfect little house for a relaxing weekend getaway with your partner. The house is on a gorgeous property which is maintained perfectly. John was quick to reply and helpful when needed. I recommend and would stay again!

Beautiful spot to get away from the city. The host was awesome and responded to every question we had. I could not be happier picking this place for a weekend away.

It was clean, well maintained, and everything worked as it should. We felt like we were living on a golf course. We spent 4 beautiful days sitting on the deck, except when we were hiking the property perimeter that took us about 25 minutes per trip. We were there for a rest, not excitement. It was great. Only possible complaint was that the sound of distant traffic on the side road, occasionally interfered with the song birds.

We feel so relaxed after our stay. The birds and rabbits, wrap around porch and lovely vintage charm. The host was terrific and clearly hardworking with the magazine landscapes. Off to our Newfoundland home again, would love to return. Cynthia and Kate

Enjoyed having coffee on the porch in the morning and listening to the birds. Nicely landscaped property to walk through. Well equipped kitchen. Very Homey feeling there. Will definitely be back.

We just wanted a quiet place to relax and enjoy some downtime, and this fit the bill perfectly. We spent a lot of time relaxing in the sunshine of the mornings and during the quiet evenings on the front porch. And so many birds! Clearly I've lived in a city too long. The cottage is very nicely decorated, both in period and with modern conveniences; clean and dust free. Absolutely no complaints. It's very close to Collingwood, and even Wasaga if you want beaches. We used the cottage as a jumping off point to go in the other directions, like Creemore, the Roost winery, various provincial parks for hiking, which are all nearby.

Close to town and easy to find.

Very cute and well-maintained property. Directions were clear and check-in was easy. Close to town. We stayed in the winter and location was easily accessible to outdoor winter activities. Hope to stay again!
