This home was truly amazing for our family. The outdoor spaces and soccer field were perfect for the kids while the adults enjoyed poolside tropical living. The sound system in this house is top quality and we had music playing that felt like an private oasis. Only a 3 minute walk to a private beach. are you kidding me!? Joel and Mergie were fantastic in hosting us and we felt truly cared for. HIGHLY RECCOMENDED. We will be back and will rent this same house again and again

Villa Solana is an absolutely beautiful vacation home. My family just returned from an 8 day stay. We rented Villa Solana with another family-- 4 adults and 6 teenagers. Four bedrooms are in the main house, each beautifully appointed and with their own bathrooms. Two of these bedrooms have king sized beds, and though one was technically the master bedroom, these two bedrooms were equally comfortable for the two grown up couples. It's worth knowing that the fifth bedroom is separate from the main house. It too is comfortable, but it does not have its own bathroom, and whomever sleeps here must go outside (maybe ten steps) to get into the main house. The pool area and outside area are truly amazing-- comfortable seating, gorgeous pool, beautiful landscaping. There is also a ping pong table and soccer field, and outdoor speakers on which we were able to play music from spotify. The kithcen was open and well stocked, opening into a large dining room area with a long table. With all this, our down time at the house was really fantastic. The house was about a five minute walk from Playa Bonita, a lovely beach for sunsets and general exploring-- a little too rocky for swimming. However, a short 12 minute walk from Playa Bonita, along a shoreline made strikingly beautiful by the strange rock shapes hewn by the surf, and you arrive at Playa Mansita, a perfect spot for swimming. As if all this wasn't enough, Ethel comes every day to clean the house and cook delicious breakfasts. She is efficient, cheerful, and so professional. Lastly, any issues that came up were promptly managed by Joel, who was also a terrific resource for any questions that came up. Pro tip: ask for Rodolfo's info. Rodolfo delivered fresh fish twice during the week-- so we had wonderful dinners in that comfortable dining room. The bottom line: we loved our stay at Villa Solana. Best vacation home we have ever rented.

My rating is 4.5 Stars. The house is fantastic, the daily housekeeper was very good and was great, doing the house cleaning, doing laundry for 7 people, cooking, washing the dishes and everything we wanted. The only complaint we have was wifi wasn't strong and keep going in and out, maybe this is what you can have in Costa Rica.

This house was absolutely gorgeous!!! It blew us away and we’re used to staying at 5-Star hotels. Ethel was the absolute best! She kept the house so clean everyday and made some amazing food. The location was great! Overall I couldn’t recommend this place more! The pool and back yard was breathtaking!

We enjoyed Villa Solana very much. The pool, sports field and ping pong table offered a lot of opportunities to get out with the kids and play. Hacienda Pinilla is an amazing development and has much to offer with golf, horseback riding and the beach club to name a few. We took many walks down to the beach with was only a couple hundred yards from the home. The home was meticulously cared for and showed very nicely.

Joel met us upon our arrival on Christmas evening to introduce us to the house and area! Thank you Joel!! The home was perfect for our family group of 11, ages 80 to 9 years old. The kitchen had everything we needed to have daily family dinners together. The bedroom layout was perfect for comfort and privacy, and the pool, soccer field and ping pong table were used continuously. We were there from Christmas day until January 4. We did have one issue. We were not able to reach management over the New Year holiday when we wanted to schedule a fishing charter and transportation for part of our group , but we were able to manage that ourselves.. Ethel was wonderful!! She was so pleasant and hard working. She offered to cook breakfast each day and went about her chores quietly and professionally. (I wanted to bring her back to Wisconsin with me)! At one point, the kitchen sink backed up, but Ethel called for help and the problem was solved. I cannot say enough about our overall stay. The house is fabulous, perfect for large groups, very well maintained and within walking distance of the beach. Definitely a 5 star place to stay. One Suggestion. It might be helpful for the management company to have a brief checkout with customers to hear about their experience.

First of all, I want to mention the host and service was absolutely incredible, really doing all they could to help us plan our trip and assist us while we were there. The house is really special as well, clean, luxurious, spacious and lots of on-premise activities all in a safe community walking distance to the beach. The daily cleaning service was also really impactful, especially with the size of our group. Highly recommend this one.

We absolutely loved our stay. Hacienda Pinilla is a quiet neighborhood, and this house is like a dream...everything you'd wish for. Beautifully furnished, well equipped, we enjoyed the big pool and playing in the yard with the kids, the gym is a nice plus too! Just a quick walk to a deserted beach, and close to the beachclub where we rented surfboards for the whole family. A nice, quiet little getaway...wished we had more family members with us to share it with! Nice attention from the owners to leave a plate of fresh cut fruits, and Ether our maid was so nice and very discreet. A dream stay, our favorite of our whole trip in Costa Rica...
