Charmante und persönlich eingerichtet, sehr großzügige Austattung der Küche inkl. Gewürze, grosse Terrasse, super komfortables Kingsize Bett, ruhige Lage nahe dem historischen Zentrum von Port Arthur. Das große Plus: der Holzofen, den wir gerne benützt haben. Hier wären wir gerne noch etwas länger geblieben.

Great location only 400 meters from a few shops and 1km from Port Arthur historic site. Full facilities for cooking and washing and drying clothes. Beds comfortable.

Only heating was a small fan heater in bathroom, apart from a log burner fire. In October it became a little cool in the evening but we could not justify lighting the fire.

It was very well equipped and comfortable.

We walked in there and were immediately taken aback. The smell of wood fire was overwhelming. There was no way we could stay and sleep in there, and it would probably have got worse if we lit the fire. We opened the back door but it did nothing to help. We didn’t stay, we locked up and left. I doubt if the accomodation would pass an OH&S inspection. As far as Hidden Gem , that is false advertising, the accomodation was very basic at best. We think we deserve a full refund. Fortunately we found good accommodation a short drive from there.

Great communication. Awesome location. Everything you need is there. Everything works well. Bonus points for indoor and outdoor flip flops! Love the fireplace. The instruction to start the fire is clear. We would love to come back and stay anytime!

Was perfect for my friend and me at the end of the three capes hike. We warmed up by the log burner, washed and dried our hiking clothes, had a hot shower and then a very comfy bed each! Thank you! Everything in The Shed has been well thought out and there was everything that we needed. Lovely view into the garden too. Would come back, for sure!

We tried to come up with some ideas for improvement but couldn’t come up with anything sensible.

Beautiful location with lots of wildlife and birdlife Use of rain water and available pantry items helped that we didnt have to buy lots of unnecessary groceries like oil, spices, coffee.
