Located just 0.2 miles from the famous Cove Beach Park, Charley Young's Beach, and Kamaole I Beach in Kihei, this property offers not 1, but 2 private homes for large groups traveling together! A rare find, these recently remodeled and re-furnished homes comfortably sleep 8 guests each.
Also known as the Gathering Place, The Cove Hale is a perfect setting to get the family together, or a group of friends, to spend a memorable Maui vacation together at one location. Enjoy two separate homes, each being two stories high, so everyone has plenty of privacy and room to spread out. The location can't be beat with restaurants, shops, surfing, and multiple beaches all within walking distance!
Both homes feature a King size bedroom downstairs with a pull out couch in the living room, and a Queen size bedroom upstairs with an additional pullout couch in the upstairs living room. In addition there is a day bed with a trundle perfect for children. A full-sized kitchen is located upstairs to enjoy some or all meals at home, a dining area for 6 in each home, as well as an outdoor dining area off the lower lanai. Both homes also offer a large laundry room so you can get settled in for a while.
The homes are separated by a shared yard, which is set up for outdoor games and fun! New private pool and hot tub for guests use! Enjoy BBQ dinners in the private yard outside your two private homes.
This is not your usual swimming pool! This is a full resort designed with all ages in mind and features a built-in slide and baja shelf ideal for smaller children to splash around. The palapa is a shady area with a swim-up bar ledge and four stools built right into the pool. Situated beside the palapa and attached to the pool is a hot tub that can easily accommodate 6-8 people. The outdoor dining area with grill is located between the two houses with easy access to both and a view of the pool. There is loads of space to stretch out, relax, and enjoy the warm Kihei sun while the kids are entertained.
Famous Cove Beach Park is a 3-minute stroll across the street to the right, and Charley Young's Beach, and Kamaole I Beach are a 3-minute stroll to the left! Walk over to Hi-Tech Surf Sports to grab a surfboard and paddle out, or join in on a game of Volleyball at Cove Beach park! There are many restaurants to enjoy if you feel like dining out, all within walking distance as well. There is parking available for 4 vehicles at this property, and while it is great to have a rental car to adventure to other sides of the island, know that your group can very easily come and go on foot without having to get in the car. There is even a bus stop across the street for those who choose not to rent a vehicle.
