Location and the views from the property.
It was Ok clean, not very detailed/hasn’t been cleaned recently due to some incidents that we experienced during our stay.

We had problems opening doors to enter house. One screen door couldn't open at all. Leaking tap in bathroom.

Great location, beautiful house. Especially loved the guide book left for us so we knew exactly where things were and what was expected. Will definitely stay again.
Mattress was a little too firm. Would love for their to be kayaks next time and I saw they were working toward that. Maybe some more menus for places in triabunna, Swansea and Bicheno?

Location was great. Excellent book about Walks in Tasmania was helpful for our trip to Maria Island.
A mat inside the main entry as it was wet weather and we were concerned about muddy shoes. A couple more bedside lamps plus 2 extra dining room chairs. The 2 bar stools were a little uncomfortable.

Ther was a comprehensive supply of supplies and condiments to cook a delicious meal in a well stocked kitchen. There were also board games to pass the time away on a cold, wet day.

Clean and comfortable with everything you need. Short walk to cafes and supermarket for essentials. Then there is the view!!! A most agreeable stay.

The house is situated- as the name suggests- right on the river with huge windows in the living area facing the water. The views were stunning and the little reading area was perfect for having a hot cup of tea and watching the water. There is also a lovely little balcony overlooking the water which we didn’t make much use of because the outside air was very crisp but it would be a great place to sit on warm days.
The whole house was tidy and well fitted out with everything you could possibly need. We were so pleasantly surprised to find tea and coffee in the cupboards which was a lifesaver when we arrived and realised all the shops had already shut for the day. There’s also provided boardgames and giant Jenga!
Communication with the hosts was a breeze and they were always polite, helpful and accommodating. I could not recommend this location any higher and we’ll definitely be staying here again next time we’re in Tasmania.

Our host Georgia was fantastic, her communication was really good. We were kept informed by her with all aspects of possible issues which was fantastic. I had asked for a couple of recommendations from her and she helpfully obliged with some successful suggestions.
The retreat was a very comfortable no fuss stay with some thoughtful treats awaiting to make the stay even more comfortable.
