The house was very good. It met the needs of our family. Emily the host was easy to access. The property management company and emergency number contact were not helpful. The thermostat was locked below the requested temperature of the host and no one had the password and property management did not return our calls. The biggest challenge for the week was the pool heater was not working. There was an unsuccessful attempt to fix it by a pool company. Days later and after numerous emails to Emily the host a part was replaced giving us heat for our last full day. Emily has said we will receive a refund for the payment of heated pool. We could not find a cord for the land line. Travelling internationally roaming charges can add up. Having said this my family left having a positive experience in this house. I do believe Emily our host worked to help us enjoy our stay.

Very clean and enough room comfortably Owner relies quick to any question We loved it

The first issue was the location was changed. This review is not for this home but a second property managed that is located in Story Lake Resort. They changed the property one month prior to arrival stating the original location was no longer available. Which was very disappointing due to being booked numerous months in advance. Upon arrival to the Story Lake Resort Home 2730 the outside lawn was littered with trash and food, upon entry we noticed the floors where dirty, walls dirty. Checking every room and all linen had to be washed due to stains and odor. Couches where full of hair, human and pet, although it states no pets allowed. The carpets were not vacuumed, floors were unswept and the filters in the home needed to be changed. Almost half the occupants were sick with coughing, sneezing, headaches. The ac left on 72 did not cool the home and it was hot and suffocating at which point we had to purchase humidifiers for the 5 day stay. Pool table was broken so we barely used it. The great parts: bed are comfortable, decor was nice, location was perfect for shopping, eating and the club house great for kids but very strict that I couldn’t bring in water or snacks for a 1 yr old bc they want you to spend more money at the bar concession stand. I would only book again for the location of the resort and close proximity to smaller club house and shopping in the area

The property is well maintained and the property manager is very responsive. We had a large group, and there was never a time that we felt on top of each other. I would recommend this property to anyone.

This property was a wonderful stay me and my family enjoyed ourselves the kids enjoyed the game room & pool. Emily was a wonderful host throughout the whole booking process. 10/10 I would recommend

House is great for a large group. A few small things could be better. Dishwasher wants to tip over when you use it. Dryer doesn’t dry very well. Otherwise great stay for a large family and enough space for everyone. Comfortable home overall.

The house was beautiful and spotless. Unfortunately we were never able to access the wifi network. The upstairs faucet shot out sideways when we used it. The dryer had no heat so we had to dry clothes 3 times over and then hang on the stairs to air dry. The water heaters are not sufficient for the amount of bedrooms. If the upstairs was showering there was no hot water left for the downstairs. None of the 5 bathrooms had a grab bar for my older father and mother in law and it made it difficult to shower for them for fear of falling. I feel at least one bathroom should be handicap accessible. The check in at the gate was close to impossible. We arrived at 4:09 and couldn't get through the security gate until almost 4:30 which put us at just aimlessly driving around waiting to be added to the list to check in. When we finally made it in, there was no tiolet paper in any of the bathrooms. Again very happy with the house itself but definitely not the best experience.
