The hosts were very nice and helpful. The cottage was immaculate; the hosts thought of everything a guest could need for a restful stay.

We spent Christmas at this cute cottage that was decorated so nicely. Our son and his family live in Gardner. When we arrived we walked in to hear Christmas music playing, we saw a beautifully decorated Christmas tree, and we had the cutest decorated Christmas cookies. We also had yummy, huge muffins along with softened butter on the kitchen counter. The cottage was cleaner than any hotel or VRBO we have ever stayed at. The towels were SO soft and there were plenty! It was cold weather and the heater worked so well, we had to keep it in the 60's. We had television in the LR and bedroom. There were plenty of streaming choices available. The bed was very clean, soft, with plenty of pillows. Dave contacted us the day of arrival with information we needed to get in. I had questions that he promptly answered back while we were traveling. Every amenity has been thought of and provided. We will definitely return on future visits to the area. It's way better than any hotel in Gardner....by far!

This cottage is adorable. The host left delicious homemade cinnamon rolls. It was decorated beautifully for Christmas. The place is very easy to find and just a few miles outside of Gardner. Only a short drive to Kansas City. If you need a country get away this is the place!

Very cozy and comfortable. Two things I would have liked to know before hand were, 1. You are expected to not wear shoes inside and the bare concrete floors were too cold for stocking feet. Take thick socks or house shoes. 2. There is no coffee maker. Kuerig is provided. If you are a "purest" coffee drinker you will miss your coffee. Highly recommend for relaxation.

This was our 2nd stay at the Green Cottage. Once again the owners have provided a private, quiet and comfortable place to stay. The small house is beautifully decorated in almost a French country motif. The owner also spoils us with delicious homemade baked goods. The house was also beautifully adorned for Fall with very nice decorations. The owners were also helpful in showing us how to operate the internet TV. We look forward to staying here again when we are in Gardner.

This vrbo rental was the BEST. It had everything we needed and more. The location was perfect, with a hammock in the middle of the trees which was seriously so peaceful. I wish we could’ve stayed longer! I will definitely be back if I ever find myself in Kansas again!

We have stayed in 13 of these kinds of places in the past four years and this one was my favorite. Their attention to detail is outstanding. They are very generous with little extras that you don’t usually find. It was very clean. The location is wonderfully country and conveniently located just off I35, near Olathe. The decorating is beautiful, and there are lovely live plants throughout. Anything you could possibly need is there, and it’s like new. The lighting is wonderful and creative and plentiful. And the communication with this couple is very prompt. The bed is great. Even the “yard” is cute with a swing, a glider, a hammock and a place for a small fire. I wish we could have stayed longer! P.S. And they provide delicious home baked goods and local eggs! So fun!

We loved our time at Green Cottage! Impeccably clean and beautifully decorated with attention paid to every detail to ensure a comfortable and cozy experience. Many thanks to Stephanie and Dave who made us feel so welcome! (We also thoroughly enjoyed our feline visitors who had coffee on the porch with us each morning!) We would highly recommend this property if you are visiting this part of KS!

I was in the area for a conference and wanted the comforts of home. The property was perfect! It was comfortable, peaceful and relaxing. If I’m ever back in the area I would stay again.

It was the loveliest little place tucked under and surrounded by a canopy of trees! Very cozy and beautifully decorated. Homemade goodies and fresh cut flowers waiting for us upon our arrival. It had wonderful outdoor seating with a firepit (unfortunately we didn't have time to take advantage of). It was a dream! Would highly recommend!

This is an amazing property! It was quiet and seemed secluded with the trees and countryside. The owner was awesome! We had dessert and breakfast prepared by him and it was absolutely delicious! The home was clean and the atmosphere cozy. If we come back this way we will definitely stay here again!
