Villa Alba is a new house with five rooms surrounded by a rice field. Everything is perfectly designed and attention has been paid to the details. The value for money was excellent because the owners were running a promotion. I also had the pleasure of enjoying dinner. The cuisine is excellent. The breakfast options (English or Sri Lankan) are fine. I would especially recommend the Sri Lankan breakfast. If you don't mind the tuktuk ride to Ahangam town (about 15 minutes), I recommend this hotel to every traveller. Thank you for the hospitality.

The well designed villa that is beautifully set in the paddy fields. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We even went back for another stay !!

This is a hidden gem.

This place is your luxurious hideout with home like vibes. It has only 4-5 rooms, so you share the place with few couples only. The common areas are great: swimming pool with beautiful views, super comfy beds, warm water that you don't want to leave! There is a library part with books if you want to read a little, you can take yoga mats or rent bikes. We rented bikes and went on a small trip to local tea factory- strongly recommend. We had the luxury to meet the owners who were just there- really nice people! The rooms were all you can ask for - huge, modern space, TV, terrace, reaaally big and comfy matress. Perfect for total relaxation. You also get this home vibe because you can go to common space and make yourself a tea or a (very good) Coffee whenever you want.

The spaces were really clean but some humidity smell was in our room. Not a big issue because we asked for inciense sticks and staff gave us few for the room :)

Quiet place in the nature

the place is gorgeous. Food was great. Loved how quiet and calm it was. Staff was very friendly. Would def visit again.

The staff are still learning but they were all very sweet and accommodating. They need to be more timely focused especially when there is a child involved. For example we ordered dinner for 8pm for our son and when it didnt arrive they informed us that they need 3 hours to prepare and that we only ordered at 7pm so they still will need time. As adults we wouldnt mind but a kid cant wait. Also breakfast is only served at 8am and even then it took until about 8.30 - 9am to be served. Also we are up early and want to head out so its quite late for breakfast, we noticed this annoyed another guest also. Saying that i think they can easily improve on these small things and i would def go back.

A stunning luxury Villa set in the middle of paddy fields frequented by peacocks. During my brief stay I enjoyed fabulous food both at Vila Alba and in a number of local eateries. I lazed in luxury by and in the infinity pool, in one of the most comfortable beds ever and in the cosy VillaAlba library. I went on an elephant safari and saw families of wild elephants, visited the local white tea plantation and the fabulous Galle Fort and saw turtles the size of a table swimming just off the beach! Thanks to the staff and owners for creating such an exquisite haven - I will be back!

What a wonderful property in the South of Sri Lanka. Fortunately enough we met the owners who truly were excellent hosts. All the team member are so very attentive, professional and polite. Wonderful sourrounding to relax and enjoy the nature. The food was very well presented and taste delicious. Nice selection of drinks and wine. The place for a few nights in true tranquility and bliss. Highly recommended. Go and try it yourself!

The property is beautiful and was well maintained. The poolside snacks were great and dinner was also excellent. The staff were helpful and looked after us well.

Superb villa, the best place I've spent time, every detail is thought out to the smallest detail for your comfort, even the grass on the lawn is especially soft. Beautiful stylish interior, delicious food, excellent presentation of food, caring staff, everything is perfect. Special thanks to Nadith for hospitality. We will definitely return.

We stayed at Villa Alba for 3 nights, and we loved every minute. The rooms both had incredible views of the rice fields and waking up to the view and sounds of nature was just wonderful. The pool and open plan lounge area is a luxurious place to spend the mornings or afternoons, with the sun dappling the terrace and monkeys and peacocks often to be seen, much to the delight of our young daughter. All told it has a really nice 5-star luxury feel throughout. Nadith and his team looking after us were incredible. Attentive but discrete. Breakfast was a feast to fuel the day and the delicious food options are varied enough to satisfy a broad range of tastes. We were a stone’s throw away from some amazing beaches and restaurants so we could surf and swim with turtles. Would highly recommend a stay at stunning Villa Alba from every aspect.

We only regret that we couldn’t stay for longer as we had future plans, but are already making plans to return.

We just got home from an 11 night stay at Villa Alba, and we already want to go back! We had the best time! The location of the villa is so peaceful, surrounded by beautiful nature and lots of animal spotting (a monkey family playing in the trees, peacocks and water buffaloes in the fields below and plenty of beautiful birds. We even came across a big monitor lizard on the road one morning). It’s only a 10 min tuc-tuc drive to the nearest beach and we spent most days doing half a day at one of the many beautiful beaches and the rest at the villa. We were always happy to get back to the house and to our room which was just perfect. You could tell a lot of thought had gone in to every single detail of the house. The furniture and fabric were all solid and good quality and there were plenty of books and games to borrow to enjoy some downtime in the hottest hours of the day. The staff were so nice and polite and they really made our stay feel special. The food was also delicious, we actually ended up having dinner at the villa most nights since there were a lot of options (for adult and kids tastebuds) and we always looked forward to quiet evenings at the villa. I think it would be the perfect villa to rent out with a group of friends or family!
