Four Night Minimum Stay Year Round (excluding certain holidays and events).
A dream-come-true vacation home - the house is 2437 square feet, 4 bedroom, 2.5 baths and sleeps 8 in 1 king bed, 2 queen beds and 2 twin beds.
Bright and sunny inside and out, this turn-of-the-century yellow shingled 4-bedroom -- just a stone's throw from the recreation trail leading to the sheltered beach at Lovers Point in Pacific Grove and beyond -- is a vacationer's dream. You're so close to Monterey Bay you can hear the seals bark and watch the waves lap on the rocky shoreline from the living room, dining area and master bedroom.
The walk to the Monterey Bay Aquarium is an easy 5-10 minute stroll along the beautiful recreation trail. Also within walking distance are restaurants and attractions of both downtown Pacific Grove, Cannery Row and New Monterey.
Centrally located a few blocks from downtown and across the street from the famous Green Gables Inn, it is perfect for life-cycle events or family reunions, where large numbers of people want to be located near one another. Recently updated and freshly painted in upbeat yellows and sea-palette blues, the house has a casual, summery feel accentuated by comfy white furnishings.
The living room is bright and cheery with ocean views and a fireplace. The bright white fully-equipped eat-in kitchen opens to a larger dining area that seats 12.
A back deck with charcoal grill provides privacy for outdoor cooking or just plain relaxing.
Bedrooms and Bathrooms
All bedrooms are located on the second floor.
Bedroom #1 has a Split King Bed with foam topper.
Bedroom #2 has a Queen Bed.
Bedroom #3 has two Twin Beds.
Bedroom #4 has a Queen Bed
The upper level / second floor has 2 shared bathrooms. One bathroom has a clawfoot tub and separate shower and the other has a shower-over-tub.
The lower level has a half bathroom located near the living areas.
There is a shared washer and dryer in the garage which is also shared with any guests staying in the guest suite above the garage (rented separately). The garage is not for parking cars. Parking for one car is in the driveway, More parking is available on the street.

excellent house basically on the Ocean. close to food options and wharf area. clean, well set up for cooking. comfortable beds. off street parking. Looking forward to our next stay here.

Location location location
Great location, and great view. While no one expects an historic house to have modern amenities, the house is tired and needs maintenance. Primary bedroom sink didn’t drain and backed up with yucky live gnats and dirt. 2nd bathtub was not usable. Downstairs bath sink did not have hot water. Some wall plugs were inoperable so charging electronics required switching out phones. Squeaky doors needed WD 40.

Amazing location
Location is everything! Our large party had guests staying across the street at the Green Gables Inn. Beautiful property, BBQ and outdoor deck area.

Charming house in a great location
Note that the room above the garage is a separate rental (which we didn't realize until after booking). The description says the garage is not locked but it actually is so bikes can be left inside although there is no room to park a car. The clawfoot tub was marked as unusable which was disappointing. The house is pretty creaky in some spots which is to be expected with an older house. The owner was very helpful and responsive.

A Memorable Christmas Week
The Yellow House was a welcoming and warm home to reunite with family. The owners were accessible and easy to work with. It was a comfortable and spacious house, always bright and with a view that surprised us each morning. We walked everywhere!
