The hotel dates back to Soviet times, and at that time it stopped. If it was twice as cheap, then there would be a match between the price and the quality. So the price is overpriced.

Very basic, clean, good value for money. Not luxurious by any means.
Electrics not great in the room.

The hotel has been closed during covid, and has now reopened, but not the restaurant, so they did not serve breakfast, even though it is advertised. I arrived 4 am, but reception was open, it is quite a hard place to find in the dark, as there is no lit sign outside. But was made welcome. Unfortunately room had no water at all. So when I went down 9am that morning, they came up and switched it on (guess they had been doing maintenance). All in all, it is basic, cut clean. Bit dated, but in such a quiet but central area of town I really didn't mind. Also meant I found a fab little French cafe in the park where I had breakfast each morning!
Not really anything to dislike. Wallpaper a bit peeling, carpets a bit worn, but honestly, I couldn't care less. It was comfortable and quiet.

The hotel's very central location is its main selling point
The hotel appears to be barely functioning as a regular hotel at the present time. It is a hosting centre for Ukrainian refugees (a good thing of course) but this has meant that breakfast is not available for other guests. The rooms are dated but perfectly comfortable and very clean - although heating in some rooms may be an issue. For the price paid (c.€40 per night) I consider it acceptable - although I would think of this in terms of half of the price paid for the location

Nothing at all
It was freezing with the poorest of facilities.
No means to make a coffee or tea.
You had to run round the shower to get wet.
Very, very poor hotel that rates itself a 4 star.
For all the negative regarding the hotel itself, the staff were exceptionally nice and helpful.

I liked that there was a radiatior in the room and l, as we got there at night and it was raining, the heat felt like heaven. The beds were really confortable and there was hot water on demand. The place was clean and quite confy in the end
The room had a communist vibe and the furniture was quite old, but decent and there wasn't absolutely anything broken, so no complaints about that.

Could do with a few more lights as seems a bit dingy at times

The location is good.
There is no hot water if you want to take a bath after 10PM.

The 2 English speaking girls in the reception was excellent.
Lamp at the bed and a safe. The fixed the lamp and it was possible to leave valuables in the reception so it all turned ok.
We where out of water almost 24 h but I can't really blame the hotel for that. Some repair work in the street outside turned off the water for the whole area. But the information could have
