We are new to VRBO, but have been hosting long-term stays on as a Superhost on other platforms (AB&B) for over 10 years with 4.9 rating. This space is a 2-bedroom unit available on the main floor of a 2 story house, great for a couple or small family. Enjoy a large kitchen and your own porch looking out to the beautiful trees in our back yard. Walk to coffee shops, grocery store, bars, restaurants or enjoy delivery! Guests love staying in the coveted Greenwood neighborhood, tucked away in a private block with lots of trees, and 1/2 mile to the entrance of wooded trails through Carkeek Park to the sandy beaches of Puget Sound.
The space
Enjoy a full kitchen and dining area with outdoor patio. There is a master bedroom with a queen sized bed and en suite full bathroom. The second room is a cozy and calm nursery space with a crib and books. Downstairs is a newly added office that hosts two separate desk stations with comfortable office chairs and external monitors set up, perfect for working remotely. A second full bath is available for guests on the main floor.
Our space is set up accommodate 2 adult guests and a small child in the crib. A full-sized pullout sofa bed is also in the office space if an additional bed is needed (bedding is provided but we do not keep the sofa bed set up). We have an air mattress and are willing to consider additional guests if discussed in advance.
Guest access
Please note that we have a tenant who lives on the first floor of the home. The two units are completely separate with their own entrances and the entire apartment is private - you would not be sharing the living room or any other space (except for the backyard) with our first floor tenant. However, we kindly ask that you be respectful by limiting noise and not throwing loud parties.
Other things to note
You are welcome to cook or get takeout in the apartment for any meal, and we will leave you recommendations for restaurants, etc. in the neighborhood! :)
Note that while we have a fireplace it is not currently in working order due to recent renovations.
We wish we could consider your furry pets, however allergies prevent us from being able to do so.
Lastly, please note that in alignment with safety protocols, we ask guests to provide an government issued ID to verify their identity.
