We sent letter to John Banczak, Chief Operating Officer, Vacasa, Portland, OR on March 24. Due to problems described below, we request a full refund of two unused nights on our reservation. We have yet to hear anything from Vacasa after 3 weeks. Re: Vacasa confirmation # QFHKOSSQ; Booking.com confirmation # 4005.526.477 a beautiful property in a stunning location, but it was not prepared for guests. Arriving at 5:30 pm we encountered numerous problems during our abbreviated stay - which was 1 night of a 3-day reservation. The initial reservation was through Booking.com. Shortly before our trip we got a text from Vacasa. We had no idea who that was. We contacted Booking.com customer service: they did not know who Vacasa was. All text from Vacasa were deleted. Booking.com included a map with the reservation data showing the wrong location. When we arrived the pass code did not open the door after multiple attempts. We called Vacasa, who eventually suggested using the key from the keybox. The key did not work either. Vacasa’s local representative arrived in 15 minutes. She unlocked the door. She explained that the key pad was new and a unique design “probably needing instructions”. And, she discovered that only ONE of the keys actually worked in the door. We found the room very chilly. The thermostat was set at 58 degrees and “locked. No instructions, and no way to reset.. We contact local rep , who, after multiple attempts and a photo, was able to help us navigate the thermostat menu and reset the temp. We had to wear our coats all evening to stay warm as the in-floor heating system was only at 65 degrees at 10:00 pm. No Wi-Fi instructions, and no TV remote instructions were provided. Both proved problematic, and the local rep was called again to intervene. We gave up on the TV due to constant “reset” messages. the property offered a kitchen, kitchenware, a coffee maker and tea, there were NO cups and no glasses, Bathroom faucet leaked

Phenomenal location on the waterfront in downtown Coupeville. Great view of the wharf from the back porch which is hanging over the water. The property was also very recently redone, clean, and well decorated (not overly cluttered or kitschy).

Price seemed a bit high for Coupeville, but was ok

loved the area was absolutely beautiful!!

wished back porch/chairs would of been cleaned of bird poop prior to arrival so that we could of enjoyed sitting outdoors in the back patio was told had BBQ and it didn’t. Wish also we would of been told dryer wasn’t working prior to our arrival, had plans on using it

Location is unique and unreal. Unit is bright and beautiful… and clean. With all amenities you’d need- kitchen, washer/ dryer, tv, pack and play crib.
