The information pre arrival was incredibly informative and made the whole process super easy.

Stunning decor, lovely toiletries, spotlessly clean, excellent communications and instructions from the owners, easy to access, gorgeous welcome hamper and milk etc in the fridge, a lovely touch. Perfect location for Stamford and a wonderful home to get together with family or friends.

So many things to like about this property!
- large kitchen/diner and living room, which provided plenty of communal space for socialising
- Beautifully decorated throughout
- Fantastic location, just 5 minutes walk from central Stamford.
- Great communication from the owners in the run up to our stay, including a very helpful app that covered everything we needed to know about the property, how to find it, how to use it, things to do nearby etc.
- bed was super comfy!
- pinball machine was a fun feature!
- good quality hand wash/shower gels in the bathrooms gave it a luxury feel.
- the smart key system - we had been very excited by the high tech smart key set up in the run up, but unfortunately on the day there were some problems with the lock. The owner, Tim, did pop over immediately when we messaged him, but unfortunately after trying to fix it for half an hour, we had to resort to a normal key.
- there isn’t parking immediately outside the property. Although there are free parking options 5-10mins walk away.
- the bedrooms were mostly below ground level and the windows in the lounge didn’t open, so it felt like there was limited air flow throughout the property (the portable fan in the living room was helpful though)

This property was beautifully appointed and well equipped. The host even provided White Company toiletries, which was a real treat. The location was excellent, being walking distance into the town.

The granary is a beautiful spacious property, lovingly decorated to feel peaceful and relaxing with quirky features. The below ground bedrooms were lovely and cool and very comfortable. the kitchen is large and well equipped for social eating and the pin ball machine kept a few of our group entertained. The huge sofa and TV in the lounge allowed our group of five to spend time together in comfort.
The house is in easy walking distance of the many bars and restaurants of Stamford, Waitrose, independent shops and walks along the river. We received really helpful and extensive information about our stay before arrival.
because of the location there isn’t outside space or parking attached to the property. But as explained in the extensive pre-stay information you can find free parking nearby or use the local car parks. We were able to pull up outside the property on arrival and departure to load and unload.

Highly recommend this property. Furnished to a high standard, we could not believe our luck. 2 minutes stroll into the centre of Stamford makes it an ideal place to stay to be near everything.
