The rooms were absolutely disgusting there were actual cockroaches in our room the man at the front desk was rude there weren't blankets on the bed there was two sheets stay away from this hotel it's cheap and you get what you pay for

There was no television remote. When I asked about it at the front desk, the clerk said she had some but no batteries. There was no radio/alarm clock in the room.

Replacement room excellent. Excellent location to go anywhere. Difficult roundabout to navigate during heavy traffic periods.

Don’t forget all the cars and noise until the cops broke it up, afraid to leave once we got there bc of all the people and crowd. We didn’t know where anything was we were traveling and staying in the area with our child. NEVER again. Will my family stay anywhere around this area again. Horrible

It was horrible. The pool was not open. Cockroaches. Holes in the walls. Carpet coming up. Light bulbs missing out of lamps. Broken light switches. Guy banging all night on the door next door and front desk did nothing. Wouldn't answer phone at front desk. No outlets available to plug anything into. Jacuzzi tub was completely dirty. And wouldn't hold water. Mattress was completely stained and smelled. Mirror outside of bathroom and mirror beside Jacuzzi tub was written on. Pieces were missing from Jacuzzi tub

Horrible, do not book, I repeat do not book here, pay the extra somewhere, TRUUUUST ME!

We checked into the hotel and it appeared that there were people living there. Never a good sign. We got checked in and went to our room. The room smelled musty and damp. There was a nasty brown stain on the couch and there was writing on the mirror in sharpie marker. I lifted the sheets to check for bed bugs and found a giant stain of blood soaked into the mattress that they flipped over, I’m guessing to not disturb the crime scene. The tv was broken into pieces and wouldn’t work, there was a black mold in the jacuzzi tub, the pool was green and half full, and the kicker…..the door wouldn’t lock at all. Which is a huge safety issue for women traveling alone. We literally turned around and checked back out. They wouldn’t give any of my money back. Do not stay here.

This is a very rundown and seedy hotel. I am not familiar with The Kalamazoo area, But the hotel is in a rundown area. I should’ve known because of the really cheap price.

The staff was very friendly. The hotel is outdated and needs new carpets and a good paint job. Lots of people actually live at this hotel.

Worst hotel I've ever been to! First 5 minutes of checking in, we run into a dispute happening out on the front lawn, multiple cop cars and women screaming. The entire vibe was eerie and unsafe, we weren't the only guests who thought the same... You had dogs and kids running around the parking lot and front lawn area like it was a giant park, with constant noise and sketchy people who roam around and actually live in this building, not cool. The woman running the place treats it like one big house, kids in the lobby, people sleeping in the entrance downstairs, just madness. For the rooms, my god. Mold along the bottoms of the baseboards like it's been flooded multiple times. The dirty prints and sticky floors, bathroom door had holes in it, lots of flys everywhere. Bed sheets smelled like sweat or something, don't want to know. To say the least it's just how you would imagine it to be in a hood movie. 😂 Do yourself a favour and spend the extra bucks somewhere else!!

Not a comfortable or safe.

I had to switch my room 4 times because they was infested with roaches the Wi-Fi was completely trash and my door lock was broke so I couldn’t sleep. When I go outside to my car I seen a man laying on the floor in the hall and there was a leak in the bathroom which made the floor wet a lot

Mold on mattress, bathroom. The “ blanket” on the bed was thinner than a sheet. Windows leaked when it rained. The entire hotel smelled like weed. The breakfast was just about non-existent. The juice dispensers were empty. They only handed out coffee cups when they were asked. Arrived at hotel after having dinner out and the parking lot had 3 cop cars there.

It was ok i would cone back

Our room had cockroaches all over the room. Toilet leaked bad. Tv did not work. The pool was shut down. The breakfast sucked. Only had an apple to give out to people.

We cancelled our reservation at the Baymont Kalamazoo on Monday after receiving a call from management saying there was a power failure and we would be unable to check in with the power off until 730. We were still charged even after contacting them to cancel. Expedia are not also helping to verify or get our money refunded. That is ridiculous being charged for a room we cancelled… it wasn’t even our fault. We enjoyed our previous stay there a week prior.

I would give ZERO stars if I could. DO NOT bring your families here. The lobby smells.like bad body odor and weed. Prostitutes in the parking lot, homeless people in the outdoor corridors, and they rented us a room on hotels.com that was being used for storage. We couldnt even get into the room. It was a terrible experience I was only checked in for 10 minutes and they charged me the weekend and now wont give me a refund. The app wont let me upload pictures. The pictures used on hotel.com are corporate stock photos. The place is disgusting and dangerous.

I was woke up all night by people knocking at my door thinking i was the person who was in that room last also at 8:02 am they had no breakfast so i had to go spend more money to feed myself an my 3yr old granddaughter i really want my money back

Amazing!

Not good at all. Right when I got there, I saw many people milling about outside of the building at around 10:30pm. When I walked in, the lobby of the building smelled like weed. Check-in was fine. The room had a musty, wet smell. There were weird stains/marks on the walls and bed headboards. The trim along the bottom of the walls is actually the carpet screwed in to the wall, and these screws were loose along parts of the wall with broken pieces of drywall exposed, and some of the screws were completely loose and not in the wall. The window had a large crack in the bottom right portion. I saw 3 cockroaches, one adult and two babies. There was constant traffic in and out of the parking lot even into the late hours of the night, and people were still milling about outside the building at 4am! I felt unsafe leaving anything in my vehicle overnight so I ended up not even staying in the room so I could make sure my vehicle didn't have anything stolen from it. Waste of money.

It was very poor/ no service I had to go to the front desk!

Room had roaches. Floors were filthy. AC wouldn't get the room below 75 degrees. The towels in the bathroom were also stained and filthy. The bathroom door stuck the first time we tried it so we had to leave it open while in use. You could hear the upstairs stomping around. It was awful. The only thing pleasant about this stay was the sweet lady who checked us in.

There were people laying tweaking in hallways, rooms were unclean, fireworks and parties going on in parking lot. Lock on door didn't work. Room didn't look like the photos. I stayed at this hotel 5 years ago and now I was afraid to sleep or leave my car in parking lot.

This was the worse hotel stays I have had. The pictures online are definitely false advertisement. There was no TV use, no phone, the air conditioner was broken, no coffee, the room was very dirty. There was paint chips all over the floor. We killed a cockroach near the bathroom. The door locks were broken and the door itself was damaged and you can tell it had been kicked in. I should have gotten my money back. But I had already driven 6 hrs and it was after 3am, so all I wanted to do was unwind and sleep. I actually dropped a few tears because I was so disappointed. If I had have had my children with me, I would have went elsewhere. There were all kinds of people outside the rooms interacting as if it was during business hours. There was trash on the check in counters and the air wasn’t working at all in the lobby. I really wish I could have gotten a refund. I feel like I was robbed. I couldn’t lock my door to the room so I couldn’t have very well have been!

I thought it was a great hotel for the price you pay for. Only complaint would be that the pool was green and the breakfast there was hardly an option.

The staff was as professional as they could be very apologetic. The condition of this building is completely unacceptable. There was bedbug in my bed at 4:24 in the morning loose toilets paint peeling carpet, and tile missing could not stay there a second night, and I will never stay there again. I hope that this is not a reflection of the entire company and just one building situation. Took videos of the entire room wish I could share them with you
