Overall the owners were very helpful, the property was clean and i like the policy of removing shoes at the door. It offered a home away from home feeling and I had two unexpected online meetings while I was there without interruptions.

It was a warm clean room and house, the owners were really lovely people and they wanted me to feel very comfortable and at home, they made sure the room was conducive for me even though it’s just just a night, heating was on and extra electric heater just to make sure the room is as warm as I need it. It was a really lovely night, look forward to staying there anytime I visit Derby again

The host was very friendly and the communication before arrival was also very good. The house was kept clean and tidy and the host was kind to offer use of the kitchen facilities as well as some of the sundries (tea/coffee etc). The room was clean and I had a good night's sleep. The price was good and reflected that the room did not have an en-suite bathroom but the bathroom was next door anyway. It was nice to have a good conversation with the host instead of the often faceless check ins at standard hotels. I would be happy to stay here again.

Quiet location

No key, although access late not a problem.

The hosts were great, I felt like a real guest in their home, while providing privacy. Everything, especially the bathroom, was absolutely clean. There was parking right outside the house.

This being an old building, there is very little soundproofing. I'm a light sleeper, and this is a recurring issue that I face in the UK, maybe others won't feel this.
