Nice location with on site parking. Nice views and is just 5-8 mins walk to National Trust Beatrix potter 's garden(?). Strong hot shower. Despite what I didn't like, it was a good stay with the price I paid.

The kitchen was nearly fully equipped ( only missing lids for the sauce pants). The shower room felt damp with some areas at the bottom rotting away and the drainage wasn't that great until we cleared it ourselves on the first night. There was some mould on the small room's wall near the bed and window. Would be nice if we have some fire logs on the first night of our stay.

I like the fact that this property have Electric vehicle charging! specially after travelling long distances, close parking, clean rooms, cosy, fresh. Quiet and next to an open field. Close to town where you can go to Co-op to get some groceries or even go to pubs and restaurants! Would definitely visit again!

Guests are noisy upstairs, can hear the footsteps and thumping but aside from that the property is great! It was slightly difficult to see the turning to get to the property as Waze doesn’t show on the map using the post code, a bigger sign would make it easier to see but once you know where the property is, its fine, instructions were given once booked!

Good location, nice base for various places such as Ambleside, Windermere and South Lakes.

Could have done with a few more facilities especially a freezer compartment within the fridge for ice packs, otherwise no complaints!

Amazing location, just a few minutes walk from the Hill Top house, yet in a quiet spot. The accommodation was clean and had everything we needed for our week long stay. The Wi-Fi was a bit spotty at times but that is to be expected in such a remote location and it worked well enough to watch some movies. The house was warm and cozy and I really appreciated having access to the washing machine and tumble dryer in the communal laundry.

The house is old and has creaking floorboard so we could hear the other guests on the floor above nearly as if they were in the same room with us. Every toss and turn in the bed, let alone talking or their TV. So if you're a light sleeper like me, don't forget your ear plugs! The window in one of the bedrooms was really hard to open. There were black spots on the wall in the master bedroom, looking pretty much like mould.
