Lovely room

Breakfast not Included but plenty of Choice in walking distance

The room was lovely, very comfortable. We booked it last minute so we were really just looking for a bed for the night but were very happy with it. Great location, very reasonably priced, everything was very clean, the bed was very comfortable and a great shower. Lovely big soft towels, plenty of toiletries, coffee, milk etc. Picked the key up in the pub next door, the bar man was very nice and looked after us straight away.

The only thing missing was a hairdryer (or if there was one we couldn't find it :-) ). Breakfast wasn't included but there is a lovely little cafe just up the street.

Clean modern rooms very good

Fantastic place, room was modern, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Very fast Wi-Fi, both in the room and the bar. Loved the bar too, friendly staff and locals alike. Other pubs, shops, restaurants and takeaways on your doorstep. Some on street parking but plenty more at the rear of the place.

Don't need this section, nothing to dislike.

The owner is a lovely man and very helpful. The room was brand new and nicely decorated. Great location with good parking.Very clean and tidy. I liked that the owner contacted me directly after my initial review, mainly to apologize for the noise transfer level within the building, and ask if there was anything he could have done to fix it. This means a lot to me as it shows he cares about the review and I really wish it had been a better experience. Simply for this effort, I have amended my review to reflect his consideration. I truly hope that the noise transfer issue can be sorted out, even if this is through a gentle reminder to other guests to be more considerate of others' staying.

The noise transfer in this accommodation is awful. We could hear every word that was being said in the room joining ours and in the room below our room. The walls appear to be paper thin with no soundproofing. Every time someone opened or closed the main entrance door it sounded like someone was trying to break our door in, so much so, we left at 01:15 am on our second night because neither of us could sleep with the noise coming from the other rooms, and made our way home. There are no tea/coffee-making facilities and no information pack giving details of how you leave the room and where the keys go, local interest, or where to go for a meal or breakfast. Overall, it was so disappointing as it held so much promise.

There was no TV, no Wifi, no globes in the bedside lamps. We know the host said they hadn’t finished it, but we were disappointed with the offering.
