The staff was very friendly and helpful . The chef was very good. Amazing. Room was clean.

The property was old and the basic facility like a room phone was lacking among others. I understand the term eco but it still should be up to date no fridge in the room only junior suits. Rubbish. Not family friendly nothing for kids. Pool was dirty.

Location is good. Close to all the nice things to do and see. (Go rafting on Rio Grande and take the long tour!) Food was good, took forever but was nice.

we are a family of 4. 2 Adults and 2 children. They don't have rooms for 4!!!! Only triple rooms, which meant 1 huge kingbed and a single bed. Although this was not wat we expected the sleepingplaces worked. BUT.... THE ROOM WAS NOTHING LIKE THE PICTURES ONLINE!!!!!! Didn't even came close to the nicely decorated rooms online. Our triple room was old, dark and dirty. I was very disappointed and talked to frontdesk but because there was a wedding, there were no available rooms left. Bathroomdoor was broken, floor was dirty, no closet for clothing. We used an ironingboard to lay our clothes on. The whole feel and look of our room was COMPLETELY different than what I expected because of the pictures online. First night there was a wedding. As you can see online, they are proud to host those events. Well.... We asked what was a good time to have dinner, because of the wedding. We came at 6, we received food at 8.15!! The wedding is above the restaurant and somehow they placed the speakers OUTSIDE for everyone to hear. There was so much noice from the speakers we couldn't even talk propery. Lots of screaming from a lady with a mic and loud music. We did not have a great start in Eco Resort. There was nothing ECo about this...... As long as you don't expect to much from the rooms and there is NO WEDDING this can be nice. When you book a familyroom / come with kids then rooms are nothing like the nice pictures!!!!! We made it work, had a great stay in the area. So much to do and beautifull nature!

The location is absolutely amazing. You will find yourself in the hills, surrounded by trees and plants and able to view the sea. Check-in was swift. The rooms are spacious, clean with beautiful furniture. The balcony is spacious and the view is amazing. You are in the middle of nature. Staff is very friendly, also at the restaurant.

Breakfast was excellent!!

Hotel room sparse; not sure if my family should have expected a small refridgerator. Bathroom floor 2" higher that bedroom floor, and - not noticing - I stumbled many times when exiting the bathroom.

The staff was amazing and friendly. I am going to miss the morning breakfast and fresh juices . I could most definitely stay here again I meet some amazing people.

We could have done with a mini fridge and microwave in the room for three weeks.

The Jamaican breakfast was outstanding the chef did a great job. We had dinner there twice that was very delicious, however be prepared to have a long wait. The resort definitely felt Eco it was basic but comfortable with a good location to Frenchman’s cove and Blue Lagoon. Most staff were friendly and helpful.

Bayview did not charge us for our stay the day before we arrived as stated on all of the documentation I received and the Booking.com website. Instead they asked for payment upon arrival and charged us 25% more than agreed on my booking. They said this was due to “hotel tax” even though on our cost breakdown it includes taxes. They said that it was Booking.com fault to not inform us of the cost of these taxes. Which I think is poor because they could have informed us even if Booking.com didn’t. Instead we had no option but to pay the extra charges as we had checked in while it was dark had nowhere else to go as our chartered taxi had left. I think this sort of practice is dishonest and unprofessional and felt like it was a kick in the teeth especially since we intentionally wanted to support local businesses rather than chain hotels. We asked for a breakdown of costs that included the “hotel tax” we only got excuses as to why we couldn’t get it. First it was the manager not being present, then it was the printer not working, then we were told to give our email so it could be emailed to us but we haven’t received anything very disappointed. There was also a lack of privacy in our room not all windows had curtains, in the bathroom we had to put up an ironing board by the window as you could see straight in otherwise. we also had to cover the window on the main door as if you are over 5’11 you could see straight into our room.
