All in all amazing experience, food was delicious the chef couldnt do more for me (i have coeliac disease & dairy intolerance), everything was made fresh.
All staff were nice, friendly and couldnt do anymore for us, lovely people.
The bed for me was ok but partner slept like a baby, the rooms were beautiful if you like that kind of decoration.
Could do with a little tlc over the hotel but where doesnt.
Will honestly be coming back again !! Made our little break away magical ✨️

The hotel entrance was lovely and fesrive althougb my husband said that it smelt a bit fusty. The ladieat the reception desk assigned us our room and gave us a shortbread biscuit which was a nice touch.
I had high hopes for the room but we were really dissapointed, although clean, there was damp in the bathroom broken and chipped tiles and just general signs of neglect. The room itself was ok but nothing special, there was a storage heater in one corner of the room but other than that not much sign of any heating, not that we could control anyway. Overall really dissapointing and we definitely wouldnt return

Great rooms and service, very comfortable, charming old world atmosphere. Amazing food and beatiful gardens. Only thing i could suggest to improve would be a small fridge in the room for real milk for teas and coffees

Hotel looked very promising from the outside and did not disappoint when stepping inside. Hotel was extremely clean, well looked after and the rooms are very spacious. Will be returning!

I got married from this hotel 38yrs ago although it’s had new ownership the character still remains. The rooms are decorated v well. The gardens are well maintained

Lovely quiet hotel. Rooms are spacious and the food served in the bar is amazing. Staff are very helpful. My only complaint as a business traveler was that the Wi-Fi in my room (214) was a bit intermittent.

The road leading to the hotel could do with better signage, because I nearly missed the turning.
The hotel was lovely, the bar and restaurant were good, and the food was great.
The Lancaster suite bedroom was excellent, very spacious, with a very comfy double bed.
The bathroom was okay but needs to be refreshed and updated.
I had an issue with the hot water not working the night before, but this was addressed very quickly.
The shower head water pressure was extremely low.

We enjoyed our stay at Brook hall. What made it so enjoyable was the service. Everyone was accommodating and nice. But the star of the hotel is Eddie! He was the best part of our stay! We would go back just to visit with him again.

Amazing looking property, but looks can be deceiving. Very loud guests, no hot water & no breakfast. The manager is about as useful as an ashtray on a motorbike. It took me three weeks to get an invoice after countless phone calls, in the end I had to drive to the property to demand my invoice. The manager was very rude & when questioned about a refund for the hotel & food, she made the whole incident to be my fault 😩

The room had a damp smell. Tell tale sign was it still had a dehumidifier in the corner of the room. Waiter was unable to provide a drinks menu with prices and no itemised bill given when paying. Breakfast was not cooked properly and had to be returned and the cappuccino from the coffee maker in restaurant was cold. Not drinkable. We both left with bites after 1 night in the room.

This is a fabulous small hotel in a very quiet spot in Ellesmere Port, with lots of charm, character features, and a beautiful garden. The staff are fabulous in all parts of the hotel. The restaurant serves lovely food at a fair price, served with a smile and warmth. The hotel has a rural feel, but is a short drive away to Liverpool, Hoylake for the golf, and pretty Chester, not to forget things to do nearby. Well done Brook Hall!

After meeting people to go for a meal upon return the building had been locked up 4 of us were unable to gain entry had to ring a friend to get them out of bed as they were staying there to let us in.Complained the next morning receptionist said she had just missed us and the night porter must have been running late. Later the Hotel tried to claim the door was open luckly for us our friend heard and told them it was locked and he wasn't happy about being woken to get out the bed
