Great location. Room was clean and breakfast was okay.

At 7am in the morning the brewery vans arrived and it seems our room was right above where they are rolled in. It was so noisy!! Happy to have no view but this was ridiculous. What was even more ironic l had asked for a quiet room.

Lovely recently renovated hotel with fabulous bar area and extended balcony rooms.

Cleanliness - a glass in our room was filthy dirty at the bottom and a couple of the waiting staff were in need of some customer service training.

Breakfast was good. Food kept hot. Easy access to seating.

You need a staff member in the breakfast serving area so that immediate action can be taken as supply runs down. At present the staff come in and out and whilst they are helpful and reactive, there are periods when guests are left waiting and wondering if empty serving trays will be replenished, which is frustrating and unrelaxing.

Location was fantastic. Straight opposite a dog friendly beach. Room was clean and airy. Nice touch and surprise of dog treats. Food really good and a great choice. Brilliant shower

Breakfast was lovely, self service and plenty of choice. Bedroom clean, comfy bed, nice bathroom & toiletries.

Could have done with a small fridge in room. Fire alarm went off during breakfast, staff did/said nothing and nobody moved to exit, although we were right next to one. Went off after a while. Made a couple of dogs very frightened. If was a drill, it would have been nice to have staff let us know. Would have preferred a nicer view than into other windows of hotel.

Beautifully presented, clean and oozing character. Staff were so friendly especially Natalie and Amanda and they were all so professional. Breakfast was amazing. So much choice. Room was beautiful and the bed was so comfortable. Beautiful location.

Hotel is dog friendly but it’s not clear that there are areas you can eat without dogs this needs to be signposted more clearly

The room we had was facing another wall / window which was fine except no blind or net so had to dress and keep curtains closed for privacy theirs could easily be addressed

Vastly overpriced for the offering, no lounge area and a WeatherSpoon style bar

Fabulous and such friendly staff, we loved our stay and all the staff make you feel like you are at home.

Room and facilities were very good. Very nice bar and restaurant, it felt very welcoming and the staff were excellent.

Would have liked some bottles of drinking water in the rooms. A better selection of vegetarian meals on the menu would be good.

Hotel situated in a lovely location with sea views and rooms were all well fitted and very comfortable. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Nice touch with the free drink if you are only staying for a few days and don’t need the room cleaned!

My only real criticism is if you park at the front of the hotel you have to walk to the other side of the bar to check in and this is not sign posted. If staying park at the rear where it is more accessible. Only one lift which is through a few doors and I am not aware of any rooms on the lower floor so unsure what options are available for people with accessibility needs.

This is my second time at this hotel and this visit was as good as my first. The location is great with the beach across the road and accessible restaurants and bars nearby. The hotel is extremely clean and comfortable. The beds are so comfortable. There was an issue with my room and this was dealt with promptly and I was moved rooms. This is excellent customer care and I want to thank the staff member that dealt with this. I will return to stay.

No staff to check in all on a self serve basis. Rooms not very well sign posted. Food and drink are expensive. Room was next to stairs and a door which was noisy most of the night. We only got one key so when partner went out to have a cigarette everything in the room went off. Unclear how to get 2 cards. Same to check out all self service

All newly refurbished, lovely and clean.

The pillows were so uncomfortable we both had a terrible nights sleep and left with neck ache! They had spare pillows in the rooms but they were just the same. No staff at reception to discuss. We wouldn’t go back as we paid over £300 for a terrible nights sleep!

Really nice friendly atmosphere - very homely and warm

Breakfast wasn’t out on time at 7am and I had an early start - was waiting on eggs for ages as not been cooked yet. Bit frustrating when wanting to enjoy full English breakfast and not all ingredients are there.

All new and clean. Amazingly huge bar and restaurant.

My room, a single appeared to be over the kitchens. A door below was closing loudly and shaking the room from check-in till after 11pm and started again at 6am. It really affected sleep. There is not a check in desk for the hotel, it's a poorly signed screen/till at one end of the bar. I passed it three times before asking and being told it was the check in 'area'.
