Buenaventura Conill i Montobbio, architecte moderniste, disciple et ami proche de Gaudí, a construit la maison pour vivre avec sa famille et apprécier le travail de son maître. Grâce au grand-père de Buenaventura, petits-enfants, nous avons eu notre maison dans un bâtiment unique avec beaucoup d'histoire. Nous sommes heureux de le partager avec vous, afin que vous puissiez en savoir un peu plus sur Buenaventura, notre culture et nos gens. Nous vivons ici depuis 20 ans. D'une superficie de 220m2, cet appartement de standing au sixième étage, confortable et rénové, vous ouvrira définitivement ses portes en tant qu'appartement touristique à partir du 1er juin 2016. Il dispose de quatre chambres doubles, une suite parentale avec salle de bains et dressing, une autre suite avec chambre privée et deux chambres doubles. Il a une cuisine-salle à manger spacieuse et deux salons (principal et supplémentaire) et un total de trois salles de bains. Le salon principal est ensoleillé et spacieux et dispose de deux balcons avec une vue panoramique sur le Paseo de Gracia et le célèbre Manzana de la Discordia, le bloc qui contient la Casa Batlló et d'autres bâtiments modernistes emblématiques: Casa Amatller et Casa LLèo Morera.

We had a wonderful week at your beautiful, spacious apartment and would highly recommend it to anyone. The location couldn’t have been better, the apartment itself was very well furnished, a well stocked kitchen and welcome bathroom toiletries included. The location was perfect and the concierge service made our trip to Barcelona relaxed and easy. 5* couldn’t have asked for more

Hands down the best VRBO experience I’ve ever had. Total communication from the minute we arrived in Barcelona. Usually you have to hope and pray that the check in instructions are clear and accurate, but they instructed us to call when we got to the airport. After which we were met at the front door and walked through the whole process. We were given a tour and they even prepared maps, food and entertainment recommendations . The apartment itself is amazing full of history and beautiful architecture. The location is unbeatable with views of one of the most famous blocks in Barcelona. In fact Casa Batlo is directly across the street. I cannot say enough nice things about our stay there, it was a truly special experience. When I return to Barcelona I will definitely stay here again.

I cannot begin to summarize our stay at this property! The location is perfect, the apartment is elegant, comfortable and ideal for experiencing all that Barcelona has to offer. The balcony and view of Casa Batllò were breathtaking. Everything is meticulously curated to provide serenity, luxury and a one of a kind experience! However, what sets this property apart from every other we have ever stayed was the service we received from both the management company and the owners themselves! They attended to every detail and went above and beyond to make sure that our every need was not only met but exceeded! I could never say enough kind words or praise that would be sufficient! The property is steeped in history and the family has done a stellar job of preserving their legacy. The memories we made while staying here will last a lifetime. Anyone would be LUCKY to have the opportunity to stay here and we will certainly be back!!

We stayed for 3 nights with my wife, my son, my daughter-in-law, and 2 granddaughters. The location is great. Right in the heart of town. The apartment is roomy with all of the comforts of home. Javier showed us around when we first arrived and gave us the historical perspective. We would highly recommend this place for families who want a comfortable home in a great location!

We were in Barcelona for 3 nights and four days. Friends of ours had stayed at this property before and highly recommended it. When we arrived, we were greeting by both the property manager and the owner, who gave us a tour and introduction. The apartment was sparkling clean and well appointed with amenities like shampoo, conditioner, hairdryers, plenty of linens…everything you would expect from a nice hotel. They even had a welcome bottle of champagne for us, some basic breakfast foods, coffee and tea, and chocolates on the bedsides. All of the beds were comfortable. Each room is climate controlled. The bathrooms were updated and clean. The kitchen has everything we needed: glasses, plates, all the basics, without any extra clutter. The entire apartment was well furnished without clutter, yet decorated nicely. The building has several layers of security so we felt safe. There was no noise from the street unless you opened the balcony doors. We thoroughly enjoyed staying here. We slept well, and the location is fantastic: close to cultural sites, excellent restaurants and shopping. Five stars!

To stay in this home while in Barcelona is to stay in luxury. If you think this could be a good fit for you, then stop looking. Book it! The location is beyond 5 star with the magnificent Casa Batllo right across the street. This home is on the top floor, and so has the best view from the balcony, which is comfortable for two to sit and enjoy the comings and goings of Pg. de Gracia. To also be here at Christmas only magnified the beauty, as Barcelona really puts on a show. Pillar and Javier were amazing hosts, even decorating a Christmas tree for our family to enjoy. The concierge service of YouStylish was absolutely fantastic- I will be looking for a service like this in other cities we visit. I can’t give this rental high enough praise. Hopefully we can return one day.

We recently stayed in this fabulous apartment. 1 adult couple and 2 adult singles. The apartment is very well appointed with plenty of space for 4 adults and more to move about comfortably. All aspects of the stay were perfect. Javier and Pilar are fantastic communicators and were extremely responsive and helpful. In addition, the apartment building is full of great history and located directly across the street from Casa Batllo which makes for great morning/evening gazing with drink on the balcony. We would highly recommend this property and would love to stay here again when we return to Barcelona. Thank you Javier and Pilar for sharing your wonderful home with us!

Javier and Pilar are super hosts! The spacious flat was their home for 20+ years, and our party of 6 was welcomed and treated like family. The history behind the building/connection to Gaudi is fascinating. The location is bar none: Casa Batllo is across the street; La Pedrera is a couple blocks down; and Park Güell and Basílica de la Sagrada Familia are short cab rides away. We saw-- and ate-- a lot in four days, and plan to return one day for more. Highly recommend!

Our party of seven thoroughly enjoyed staying at Pilar and Javier's lovely apartment. This is our first visit to Barcelona and it is everything that we have imagined and more.
The concierge service provided by YouStylish is stellar. Every detail, ranging from provisions in the apartment, assistance to booking activities/reservations/airport transfers, recommendations to local restaurants, was meticulous handled and utterly seamless! The location cannot be any better: the abundance of bakeries and tapas bars, ease of access to must-see sights (Casa Battlo is across the street), and shopping heaven! The teenagers' occasional craving of American fast food are satisfied with Mickey D's and Five Guys just 5 minutes away.

We started our 2 week trip through Spain at Pilar’s home in Barcelona. The building has fabulous historic roots and sits directly across from 2 of Barca’s most historic sights. The flat is impeccably clean and spacious and all 6 of us were wildly comfortable. While the building is central to everything, it is incredibly quiet at night to rest and secure with the 24 hour doorman. Highly recommend a stay

This was my second time staying here, with 2 of my relatives, and we all enjoyed it very much. The apartment is extremely comfortable, the views and patio are fantastic, and the location is perfect. As advertised, the location is centrally located in a beautiful part of town and within walking distance of countless places to eat and drink. We walked to Las Ramblas, La Sagrada Familia, even back from the beach one day…which is a bit more of a hike, but a scenic and easy one.
The local tapas place we were recommended by the host (Vinitus) was a big hit with our group, as was the tour of Gaudi’s Casa Batllo — which our group enjoyed even more than La Sagrada Familia!
In terms of the accommodations, every detail was perfect. The apartment is a safe and quiet distance from the bustle of the popular street below, with an exceptional view from the balcony, where we sipped cava and coffee by night and day.
Views from the back bedrooms were equally impressive with Gaudi’s landmark basilica rising in the distance. Bathrooms had great water pressure. Washer/dryer was great for freshening up our frequently adorned items. Kitchen had everything we needed to feel at home. Coffee, Nespresso machine, milk and juice. Plenty of towels and comfortable bedding.
But the best part of the place is the character and history of the building, preserved over the years with love and care. It made us all feel like we’d been living there for years.
What a gem of an accommodation…we really can’t recommend it enough!

We had the most wonderful week staying at this property. The location could not have been better. And the apartment itself offered more than anyone could dream of. We also brought along our two year old, and they went above and beyond accommodating with travel cot and high chair for the duration of our stay. If you stay here, you will not be sorry. We had a small issue while we stayed in the apartment and the owners more than compensated - they arrived the next day to try to solve the issue immediately and arrived with delicious pastries for the whole family. When they were unable to fix the issue immediately, they offered to compensate us without us even asking. If you are thinking of staying in Barcelona - this is an amazing choice!

This apartment is absolutely wonderful! We have stayed in many vacation homes over many years, and this is the best place and best experience we have ever had. The apartment is beautiful and in great condition, with a fantastic view, the location is perfect to get anywhere in Barcelona, and the owners are incredibly responsive and helpful. We were there with two of our children (late teens and early 20s), visiting our college age daughter who is studying in Barcelona for a term.. Anytime in the future that we are fortunate enough to go back to Barcelona, we want to stay here!

I can’t say enough about this property! From start to finish it was amazing. The communication with the owners and concierge was easy and prompt. They are very kind and helpful. The apt is beautiful and in THE BEST LOCATION! We literally walked everywhere and it was wonderful. The apt is clean, safe and very accurate from website. We stayed with our five children and there was plenty of room. Check in was a breeze and very thorough. They have lots of restaurant suggestions, activity suggestions and information at the apartment that was very helpful. Do not hesitate to use Youstylish Concierge services for rides or activities. They are wonderful and reliable. We would not hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend this property. The history of the building and the area are wonderful and we absolutely enjoyed it! I was staying in Barcelona with one family member and we really enjoyed our stay in this apartment. It was very well equipped, comfortable, clean, and of course amazing views! It was so lovely to sit on the balcony in the morning and evening. The beds were comfortable and the place is very quiet. We were only 2 people but this space would be great for a family or a larger group. Highly recommended!

We were a group of 7 ladies on our annual retreat. I live here in Barcelona so I found this place. We have traveled all over the world and Pilar’s place has been the best accommodation to date for a group.
Location: this apt is in the heart of Barcelona. It’s like staying next to Central Park in New York or the Eiffel Tower in Paris. It’s located across from Gaudi’s house. At night, it lights up and is beautiful.
Rooms: there are 4 bedrooms. 2 are considered masters. The main master has a large bathroom in it. The 2nd master has a day bed and desk in it. The other 2 bedrooms are smaller and contain single beds but completely adequate enough for two adult women.
Beds: I’m a bed snob. I need good, comfortable beds to enjoy my vacation. The beds were like heaven. Incredibly comfortable with plenty of pillows.
Kitchen: incredibly large for Europe. There is a fridge and wine fridge.
Location: PERFECT! That’s the best word to discribe it. Every time we went out and someone asked where we were staying, they were green with envy when we told them. Everyone said they could not believe we were staying here.
If you are lucky enough to book this place, do it! You will not find a better apt in a better location for a better rate.

This prime location is near the Gaudi houses and the best shopping and restaurants in Barcelona. We were greeted by the owner and an agent that answered all of our questions. They also had maps and detailed information with many restaurant recommendations. Pilar baked beautiful delicious cookies and furnished breakfast foods and wines for us. I cannot express how impressed I was with the care they provided to enhance our stay. The apartment itself is large and luxurious. The apartment has historical value that you will appreciate when you visit and view the other historical houses on the block. The view will never disappoint as it's across from Casa Batllo. I highly recommend this apartment. I’ve been to Barcelona many times but staying at this special apartment made this my best visit.

Where to begin? The check-in process was smooth, as were pre- check in communications. Pilar showed us around her lovely apartment, for which she is justifiably proud. The apartment itself is very large, and comfortable. Pilar has thought of everything that would make guests comfortable, including adapters in every bedside table, coffee and cooking basics, cookies, etc. In short we felt like we were privileged guests in a lovely Barcelona building. The location is super, in the middle of the fashionable shopping district and across the street from some of the most significant architecture in town. In short, I couldn't recommend this rental more highly.

This apartment was perfect for our family of 5, including 2 teenagers and a grandfather. The owners are welcoming, helpful and responsive ~ perfect hosts. The location is excellent. We could walk to most sites and easily catch a cab nearby for the few others. The apartment is well-equipped, very clean, safe and surprisingly quiet. The beds are comfortable & the showers always had good water pressure and hot water. We were there during a hot week in August and the apartment stayed cool. It was always nice to come back to after spending the day out enjoying the beautiful city of Barcelona. We highly recommend it!

Pilar's gorgeous apartment in the central Eixample neighborhood was perfect for our family of five adults. YouStylish arranged transportation, tour guides and dinner reservations and it all transpired smoothly. We were so impressed with everyone we worked with - they were informed, helpful and extremely pleasant. The apartment is so comfortable! Everything you might need for a happy vacation is either provided or steps away. We fell in love with Barcelona because of our special "home" and we feel very lucky to have had such a unique experience.

Truly Exceptional Location and Home
This is an incredibly beautiful and well appointed home. The attention to detail and the location are extraordinary. Our family of 5 had plenty of space and felt very comfortable and very happy here. The views from the balcony are world class. I would highly recommend staying here when you are in Barcelona. It is a truly magnificent property and Pilar made everything so special.

Perfect Barcelona Apartment
Fabulous location across from Casa Batllo. Very clean, comfortable and quiet perfect base for our family vacation in Barcelona. Convenient to all the sights, restaurants and shopping. Owners were very gracious at check in with providing tour and restaurant recommendations. Can’t wait to return to this awesome city!
