I have been before, especially like the location, two minutes to the river and nice walk into town by the river. Comfortable bed and nice breakfast.

Always difficult to park in Hotel grounds, so parked in car park belonging to a block, so always a little uneasy.

The price does not match the quality at all. Very dirty (cigarette butts and trash from previous guests, rooms not cleaned). The reception did not even apologize for such a mess after I showed them photos from my room. The girls at the reception are rude. There are three shifts of them. Only one out of the three girls was somewhat polite to everyone. The staff is completely unqualified. Every morning they check and double-check which room the guest is from before allowing breakfast, demonstrating their inability to properly organize the breakfast procedure for guests. Besides the somewhat good location, there are no other advantages. The soap and shampoo provided are the cheapest possible (disrespectful to the customer). If a guest stays for more than three nights, in normal hotels they accommodate them further away, where it's quieter due to the longer stay. Here, they placed me across from an accountant (or administrator) and even next to a room under renovation. After flights and moves, a person needs rest, but there's no opportunity for that due to the poor understanding of the girls at the reception or administration on how to properly accommodate guests based on the length of their stay. In short, it's terrible in every aspect.

Location and view from the 5th floor to the Uzh river were the best features of this hotel. Very easy to walk across the bridge to get to the other side of the river. Easy to walk to stores and restaurants and the center of the city. Nice big window to open for fresh air! Reasonably priced laundry service that I used. Breakfast buffet was big.

Advertised amenities were not present: mini frig but no electric water pot for making basic tea/coffee in the room. That's my understanding of "mini-bar"; No safe as ad. Bed was hard as a rock. The stinky carpet was almost unbearable; I left the window open and air con running. Even the "leather" covered armchair smelled like old sweat. Near the bathroom some brown stains smeared on the wall---ewww. Laundry service would not include basics like underwear, or other things "not listed" on their short list. Really? I'm traveling for a long time living from my suitcase to help Ukraine. Safe advertised--not in my double room. Every shower: hot water vanished after 2 minutes; not turned cold, but absolutely turned off. Shampooed and soaped and NO HOT WATER to rinse. Front desk staff explained, "yes sometimes it happens." How about EVERY time it happens. Eggs every morning were cold.

good location

rooms are very dirty and smelly, bed is clean no doubt but pillows are very old it was very uncomfortable to sleep in them, they are synthetic and they cleaned lots of times and it all in lumps inside. the floor in rooms very dirty with stains and it feels like it was never professionally cleaned it got dark already that dirty it is.

Large room with a large comfortable bed. The views from the room were very nice. Location was good.

The overall feel is not of a modern hotel, but maybe this 'old feeling' is part of its charm.

The young woman (Alina, I belive her name was) was very helpful and helped book a taxi for me the next morning to catch a train to Lviv. Unfortunately, the clock on my phone was still on Central European and not Ukrainian time, so I was late getting up. I owe her an apology for her hard work and concern.
