The positives first: The lake, firepit, hot tub, and landscaping were excellent. We spent the majority of our time outdoors and therefore had a great trip overall. Unfortunately the negatives: Our bedsheets were very obviously used and not washed. When we went downstairs to grab new bedding, all sheets were musty and located on an open shelf next to the moldy water system. There was a concerning amount of mold - I understand this is a lakehouse, but I would expect some level of dehumidification to combat the moisture. When I attempted to start a load of laundry, there was a rancid pile of wet sheets and blankets left in the dryer for what must have been days. I had to clean the dryer and wash every piece of bedding in the house for peace of mind late at night before we could sleep. The UV filtration system lamp was burnt out and was beeping incessantly until we had to unplug it. Cutlery, glasses, countertops in the kitchen were used and not clean. There was old cheese left on the cheese grater and lip marks on the wine glasses. Dog fur throughout the house and embedded within the couches. Bags of dog poo were left outside the sliding glass doors on the ground. The trash cans are no more than bags with plastic lids, allowing garbage smell throughout the kitchen. It's unfortunate that the cleaner either did not do their job, or was not on site at all. Andrew was very nice and responsive, however it was evident that this property is not being maintained properly.

Beautiful spot and great location but be aware and prepared for the amount of stairs you will need to do.

Every aspect and detail of this property was perfect for our multi-generational family vacation! The interior was spotless, well-stocked, and welcoming, with everything we could possibly need, and our hosts were incredibly responsive whenever we had a question. The waterfront and property were beautifully maintained and peaceful -- the shallow, easy-access beach area perfect for children to explore and collect rocks, and the dock all set up for older generations to relax on and use the canoe and paddleboards. We were so happy for a beautiful sunset and the opportunity to have a warm campfire at the end of our busy days. Couldn't be happier with this experience, and looking forward to returning!

Stayed here for a couple of nights in mid July. The cottage is lovely. The location was perfect as we were attending wedding festivities very close by. The cottage was very spacious and had everything we needed. Lots of room for everyone to sleep, 2 washrooms and a beautiful outdoor space.

If I could give this property higher than 5 stars I would. We enjoyed canoeing, paddle boarding, grilling and having a fire at night. The sunrise from the dock is amazing! The master bedroom was spacious and the bed very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. The host was very responsive when we had questions about the area or the property. We felt as if we were staying at a friend’s home. So comfy and enjoyable! We will definitely be back!

The kids loved swimming and paddling in the lake. Lots of sun on the the dock and the deck. Clean and comfortable rooms with plenty of space for the whole crew to get together… or get some alone time. The house has everything you need to prepare and serve meals for a group. Thanks Andrew!

This is a house near the lake, it's really beautiful, and the homeowner is very careful to prepare every item. My family is very satisfied.
