There are many and loud wild animals and chickens. They will wake you up early in the morning:)

NuNu is like a little family you wake up to every morning. The staff is incredible and lovely, locals from the area that are always up to help you and engage with you. The owner is funny, sweet, caring and has put thought into every detail, you can feel it and see it at every corner of Nunu. I left this place and after 1 night, I returned immediately as I had missed the calm pace and the peace that is in Nunu. You can easily spend your days here swimming, doing yoga, reading, writing and sleeping very well in the comfortable beds. I will definitely come back again and already looking forward to it.

Not a single thing not to like.

Wirklich schöne Unterkunft in einem kleinen Dorf nahe Canggu. Umgeben von Reisfeldern und eine sehr ruhige Atmosphäre. Die morgendlichen Yoga Classes sind immer sehr schön. Wenn man etwas Ruhe sucht aber dennoch, wenn man möchte, Leute kennenlernen will, ist das der perfekte Platz.

Sehr schönes Hostel/Hotel und sehr schön gelegen, viele Gäste, auch ich bleiben länger oder kommen wieder. Alles 10/10

Die Unterkunft ist sehr ruhig gelegen und mit 2 Pools und einem wunderschönen Yoga Chalet kann man hier eine Ewigkeit verbringen. Falls man dann doch mal raus möchte erreicht man das Zentrum Canggus in 20 Minuten. Das Personal ist unfassbar lieb und immer hilfsbereit und bemüht das beste aus dem Aufenthalt zu machen. Das inklusive Frühstück ist auch sehr gut

Nicht im Zentrum und auch die Anlage an sich. Schön, dass man auf die Reisfelder schauen kann und gleichzeitig kann man freilaufende Hühner beobachten. Pool war auch super

Da die Anlage außerhalb von Canggu war, wäre es praktisch je Haus auch einen mietbaren Roller anzubieten. Wir hatten immer Probleme wegzukommen und haben dafür mehrere Stunden warten müssen. Letztendlich haben wir uns für einen Rollerverleih in Canggu entschieden. Beim Frühstück gab es wenig Abwechslung und nicht alle Optionen waren verfügbar - aber es war lecker

Amazing place and super cool owner

This hotel is incredibly beautiful. One of the best hotels in the world for me and I was travelling as a crew with a major airline for 18 years. Besides, the owner cares about hotel guests a lot and all the staff are so helpful and always smiling.

An amazing stay at a beautiful place...a mini paradise! Staff are all amazing. Aswell as the food and facilities........ I wish I could've stayed longer, will definitely be returning!

I have stayed in numerous dorms on my travels and this by far exceeded my expectations. Everyone was so accommodating from the moment I arrived, the staff go above and beyond to make sure that your stay is exceptional. The breakfast was delicious too! Thank you for looking after me nunu!

The staff were exceptional, from start to finish. I didn’t encounter any bugs, the room was clean and tidy. The free continental breakfast was delicious. I upgraded and got the vegetarian with scrambled tofu which was super tasty. Everything was explained clearly on arrival, I’m even going to extend as I love it here so much. If you want somewhere only 20 minutes from canggu with peace and quiet but with the options of takeaways to a riverside retreat this is the place for you.

Environment and the staff of the hotel

Staffs are nice except for the owner.

The owner charged me almost 1million IDR more than the price given by booking.com. They charged me for breakfast, coffee and water I had in the morning even though my room "came with breakfast". The staffs seemed very lovely and nice offering me coffee/ drinks, or asking me if I needed anything else during breakfast, but no one told me those were added to the bill. Plus, during payment, he charged me 11% service tax aside from the city tax, which none was forewarned by the booking agency. I booked for 1 week but ended up staying for only four nights because of its distance to the city center and there are so many bugs crawling in during sleep even with the doors all shut. And since the day of check-in, the owner kept asking me to give him a good review almost on a daily basis. And I really wanted to even with the hundreds of bugs crawling in, but I decided not to after experiencing the situation given above.

Nunu was the best accommodation I've had in my numerous visits to Bali. The staff couldn't do enough for you, and the owner Reece is a top drawer human who is clearly passionate about the place, and wants you to have the best experience possible. For me it's the best value vs quality option in Bali. You're in a peaceful, quiet spot, but only a 15 minute ride into Canggu if you want to take advantage of the restaurant/bar options there. Nunu is now my home when I come to Bali.

Beautiful, new property on the outskirts of Canggu, far from the noise and traffic of the center. My favorite accommodation after 3 weeks in Bali. Lovely staff, delicious breakfast, clean, comfortable bungalows, 2 swimming pools and very reasonable prices. Do yourselves a favour and book a stay here!

Nothing - everything was great!

I loved the location, the atmosphere, the attention to every little details and the warm smile of the staff. I felt in true touch with nature and it was healing for my spirit and soul. The room was spectacular in its simplicity and I loved the open bathroom and all the eco friendly touches. Also the welcome coconut was a lovely touch. We had breakfast arranged by the pool, freshly made for us! I really recommend the protein shake as a boost for your day :)

I wish I had booked for longer

I had the most incredible stay at Nunu Bali Resort! The location is simply breathtaking, nestled in the heart of nature's beauty. The staff and owner went above and beyond to make my experience exceptional – their warmth, attentiveness, and politeness were truly heartwarming. I felt like a cherished guest throughout my stay. Nunu Bali is a hidden gem where nature meets unparalleled hospitality. Can't wait to return!

Gorgeous natural property, plenty of greenery while also very thoughtful design and flow of the place. From ice baths to campfires, pools and outdoor yoga facilities, even a little bar and cooking area. This place has everything you need while not giving you the uneasy feeling of a big hotel or packed resort. It’s simply beautiful.

I highly recommend this Nunu!! the energy of the place, stuff and the owner felt so warming and welcome, they gave me all the treatment of a 5-star hotel, out of the hustle and bustle, the beds and pillows on point, in the middle of nature, with all the necessary activities to make a real retreat, and the river was the icing on the cake… I will definitely be back ❤️

Nunu is such a special place! Firstly the owner is an absolute sweetheart as are the staff; they’re all so caring and attentive. I had the honour of hosting a special Satsang gathering here; the shala was priced at a really affordable rate and I decided to stay for a night too to make the most of it. The rooms are traditional Indonesian Joglos finished to a high standard, super comfortable beds and linen, clean and luxurious. They’ve even thought of every detail down to providing toxic-free toiletries, incense, etc! The facilities here are great — 2 swimming pools, shala for yoga/movie nights, and even a little ice bath. They also have a communal kitchen where you can cook your own food which is great for longer stays. Location wise this is only about 15 mins from Canggu, and it’s such a wonderful hidden gem to get away from the busyness. There is nature all around, and they even have access down to a beautiful river just across the road. I absolutely loved my stay and will 100% be back again and again!

Omg, this place is such a little paradise. It's so calm, peaceful, and beautiful. A real escape where you can enjoy the beauties of nature and really allow yourself to be taken care of. I adored my stay here. My room was gorgeous, the bed was so comfy, the wifi was good and everything was so clean. The breakfast was delicious and the staff and owner are so sweet, helpful, and caring. This place is a gem.
