It was perfect for us... and we had all we needed. Comfortable beds and the configuration was perfect downstairs for a 5 year old and 2 adults. I guess my only feedback is quiet hour... we dont "party" and we are reasonably quiet, i would have loved using the hot tub later than 9pm. .... and it would have been nice to have just a little wood provided for the first fire.

The master with a queen bed was upstairs with the rest of the rooms downstairs. In order to get to one of the queen rooms, you need to walk through the room with the twin and trundle, which was okay but not great.We reached out ahead of time to make sure the hot tub would be filled for our stay. It was filled but unfortunately it was not hot and was only at about 60 degrees when we checked in at 4pm and took until the next day to fully heat, which meant that we couldn't use a listed accommodation until the second day.Still, we would stay again but ask for the hot tub to be turned on earlier!

The cabin is a decent place to stay but look elsewhere if you’re expecting management assistance should you need anything or run into issues. From the beginning, communication with the host was unresponsive getting back to us. The primary reason for us booking was for the hot tub and upon arrival it had just been emptied and would take 10+ hours to reheat, thus unusable for one of two nights. When politely reaching out to the Tahoe Rental Company for possible reimbursement they refrained from replying until after our stay was complete. Even so, it took several attempts to get response and action. We always got the run around, promised they’d talk with their GM and give us partial refund, ignored us for days and then finally gave us a much smaller refund than promised. One agent was downright rude and blamed the landlord even though they wrote & managed the whole listing. Also, trash/poo bags from prior guests were overflowing in the bear box upon arrival. Be prepared to bring all your own amenities as they only provide liquid hand soap and 2 rolls of paper towels. The heating was wildly inconsistent, some rooms would be cold while others would be so hot we couldn’t sleep. One of the beds was so hard it hurt our friends back. Another had springs digging into our backs. The kitchen lights had mismatched bulbs so synthetically bright it felt like a CVS inside. It’s evident the Tahoe Rental Company is milking these properties at their upmost priority over guest experience. Avoid

Unfortunately there wasn’t enough bath towels in the rental, and when I reached out to the rental company they told me they were sorry that I couldn’t find the towels, instead of offering to bring more over. We ended up buying towels from CVS so we didn’t have to share

The location is close to highway 89 but not so close that we heard traffic there. But a street adjacent to the house had a bit of commute traffic in the mornings and evenings, sometimes people speeding up or down the hill. It’s not a perfect place to walk dogs so I usually took ours somewhere in the car. There’s no enclosed outdoor space on the ground but we made good use of the outdoor deck, which is a nice feature.

Private beach access for you to enjoy the lake view, and hot tubs for you to relax in the evening and watch night sky. If the TV is bigger, it will be perfect!
