This room was over $450.00 …the only available room around town. We thought it would be luxurious. They put us in a handi cap room with an air conditioning system that sounded like a freight train. The hotel is actually a La Quinta….not a Hawthorn Extended stay. Management did nothing to help us and was rude to both us and the staff at Hotels.com. It is a shame that a Company has no conscious about ripping people off. DO NOT STAY HERE…you would be better off in your car.

I'm not sure if it was the room next to mine or above but there was almost constant noise coming from beside/above; insulation almost did not exist. It definitely disrupted my sleep and freaked out my dog.

We stayed overnight while attending a concert at the Champlain Valley Fair. The breakfast was fabulous! The hotel and room were very clean. Two issues: the sound and picture on the television “unsynched” each time we watched tv, and the shower made a weird clunking noise. Bring your own shower products if you don’t want to use Dove for your body & hair.

Very family friendly, helpful staff, and surprisingly tasty breakfast! We also appreciated being able to charge our EV car overnight. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Burlington! 10 minutes to downtown Burlington.

Wonderful stay at this hotel! So clean, so comfortable, great room, great shower, great breakfast (watermelon, eggs and sausage, yogurt, make your own Belgian waffles)! It felt like an oasis after a terrible 20 hour of travel! Thank you! Highly recommend and would stay again!

The hotel room is spacious and has a comfortable long stay solution with a kitchenette. This is good value, a suburban setting. There are lots of TV channel choices and a small sofa. The bed was comfortable. We drove into downtown Burlington and dines at Honey Road, which is a wonderful choice and we highly recommend (make reservations early).

This hotel is more like a motel! I would not come back. Room poorly designed, if you open the closet you can not go to the bathroom. People smoking weed which made the room smell awful, water pressure non existent very hard to take a good shower, bugs in the room, stained cups etc. This hotel should not cost more than $100 per night and that’s is for a suite

Excellent bed. Beautifully clean. Great shower. Wish there had been a soft chair and desk in the room to do work. Hard to work on your laptop on the bed. The open common space downstairs looked like a very nice work space though with lots of outlets.

Room was spacious and the kitchenette provided for a home cooked meal which was much appreciated. Only difficulty was that the thermostat was inconsistent so the room either felt stuffy or cold.

We love the new Hawthorn, it’s close to where we are visiting family. Staff are very pleasant, room very clean.
Sound is an issue, but that’s how hotels are made now, no soundproofing..you can literally hear bathroom, and all other noises, inside and outside.

What a great property. The property is 50/50 Laquinta and Hawthorne. Similar vibes but Hawthorne has extended say with 2 burner stove top mid size fridge with a freezer. This was just the spot I needed for the night.

Great little hotel. Very clean room and comfy bed. A little confused upon entering as the front sign reads “La Quinta.” Found out that the hotel is both La Quinta and Hawthorne Suites. Breakfast was very basic, so don’t expect anything grand.

The floors are very thin and you can hear the people walking in the rooms above you. Also, when I was taking a nap in the room one of the staff tried to use their key card to enter the room despite the fact that the do no disturb sign was posted.
The room condition is very good, beds comfy, kitchenette excellent.

The bed was too close to the wall and the AC you had to shimmy thru to get into the bed on one side. Place was very clean.

Beautiful property and very clean. Great breakfast options. Rooms are very poorly soundproofed. We could hear the faintest noise which led us to have a subpar sleeping experience.
