The views, the spaciousness of the property both inside and out

The main let down of the property was the fact that the ducted air conditioning was not working. We arrived at the property on Friday 22 November at a time when the temperature was just over 36°, it was very warm inside the house but there was only the one split system a/c that was working which was insufficient to cool down the whole house. We reported this to the host, who suggested checking the circuit breaker as this sometimes trips. We did this, it had tripped, we turned it back on, retested the ducted a/c but this still did not work. Reported this back to the host that it still wasnt working, this was at 6.05pm on Friday and requested something be done about getting it looked at and fixed. My guests who were staying in the main house had a very restless nights sleep due to the heat. The ceiling fan in the master bedroom in the main house was also not working (which they didn't discover till they went to bed). My message to the host regarding the a/c issues was not read until the following day which I found very disappointing. The temperature had cooled down quite considerably the following day and the message back from the host basically suggested that unless we really needed it, they would not be sending anyone out to look at it. Overall, for the price I paid for this accommodation, I expected that a major appliance such as the air conditioning, would be in property working order especially when temperatures were so high. This would have made our stay a much more pleasant experience
