This was the best place we've stayed in the Buffalo River area. The views were amazing. Great porch for sipping coffee and looking out over the hills. Excellent place for families/kids--the upstairs game area is great for tweens/teens. Also, the location can't be beat--right off Hwy 7 which provides access to our favorite hiking trails and swimming holes. And, the hosts were very communicative. 5+ stars.

Really enjoyed our stay. Wonderful view, a house with everything you could possibly want or need. All top notch. Responsive host. Look forward to a return trip.

We stayed at this home during the Solar Eclipse for 2024. I had been looking for a property for a few months when this one came up in my search. I booked it immediately. The property does not disappoint. The road to the property can be a little bumpy, but so worth the drive when you get there. The view from the deck and the lower fire pit area is AMAZING! You are far out from any big cities, so the star gazing at night is also AMAZING! The property had everything we needed. the kitchen was well stocked, we had plenty of dishes, pans to cook with, etc. There were 5 of us and we cooked every night at the house. The beds were comfy and the Master Bathroom was great with the rainfall shower head. Great communication with the owners, Laurie was very responsive when we had a little issue. We would absolutely stay at this property again if we needed to stay in the area. Overall, our stay was GREAT! Thank you for sharing your cute little mountain home with us.

I have family that grew up in town and they’ve never seen a view like this! It offers privacy and quiet. Easy to get to. Comfortable accommodations. New and well designed. Will visit again!

We stayed for a quick two nights (not long enough!) at this lovely cabin with amazing views. Everything was accurate from the description and photos. We loved hanging out on the deck and enjoying the hot tub. Would not hesitate to book again if we’re in the area!

The cabin is absolutely beautiful inside and out! We enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit, shot some pool and just relaxed. We hiked several trails including triple falls (it was triple after the rain), round top mountain and Lost Valley. The house itself was more than equipped and comfortable.

This cabin was awesome! It was the perfect place to go celebrate mine and my wife's 31st wedding anniversary. The cabin was clean, the hot tub was perfect, and the view was breathtaking!! Highly recommend staying here. Ms. Laurie was a great host!

Beautiful Place!

My kids asked for a “low tech vacation” & this home was the perfect destination! The most impactful thing about this location is THE VIEW. The photos don’t do it justice. The oversized deck is the crown jewel. There’s an outdoor fire pit that’s perfect for s’mores or just relaxing by the fire. Indoors is incredibly comfortable and cozy. We spent a day hiking at Round Top Mountain nearby. My kids asked if we could make a tradition of coming here- that’s how much they loved it!

This cabin was near perfection! We've stayed in quite a few properties over the years and this was hands down the best experience! The hosts, Laurie and David, packed so much into this place, we had non-stop comfort and entertainment. We stayed here for nearly a week with my wife's parents and 7 year old and everyone had a blast. The location was great, short drives into Jasper and to the many trails of the area. I think everyone's favorite part was the view, it was incredible! Arkansas needs more places like this, we would stay here again in a heartbeat!

We frequent the area quite often and have stayed in so many wonderful cabins but this one takes the cake. Best cabin I’ve ever stayed in. Every single thing we possibly could’ve needed was thought of. We enjoyed the deck so much! There was plenty to do at the cabin we didn’t even want to leave! It was clean and comfortable. We loved the beanbags upstairs and the music we were able to play all weekend. The outside tv is a nice touch and the swing is incredible. We’re already planning to come back! My kids ages 1-7 enjoyed it so much too. The view is fantastic and it was such a great birthday weekend away. I wanted to relax, and I definitely felt refreshed!

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary and it was the perfect spot to unwind and relax! We planned to go on some hikes, but when we saw the view from the cabin and the fire pit we never left! It was exactly what we needed and less than two hours from NWA. The house is really nice and clean, plus listing pictures can’t capture how pretty the view is! I hope we get the chance to go back next year.

Such a relaxing and peaceful getaway! David and Laurie were very sweet and super responsive. Their love of the property is evident in the attention to detail. They truly thought of everything guests may need, we never even had to leave the cabin. The hot tub on the back porch was definitely our favorite! Waking up to everything covered in snow the morning we left made it the much more special. We will definitely be back!!

I can’t say enough about the beauty of this place! From the moment you walk in the front door until the moment you walk out the deck to the amazing mountain views. David and Laurie were great hosts and have good attention to detail. If you’re a hiker it’s gonna be heaven, if not there is still plenty to do within the cabin.

The view and cabin are absolutely amazing! Lots of details have gone into the property. It is a perfect place to relax and have fun too. We really enjoyed the pool table, hot tub, corn hole, fire pit, and fireplace. The swing on the deck was a favorite too. The hosts are friendly and responsive. Highly recommend!

We loved our stay at this home! View is jaw dropping, property is clean, comfortable beds, well-stocked kitchen and a huge deck. We loved the hot tub, the swing and the fire pit. Location is perfect. Quick drive to Jasper and only 15 minutes to Ponca. We will be back!

After weeks of high demands both at home and work the get-a-way stay was so amazing! The arrival was so welcoming and prior arrival instructions/communications were very clear and easy. The view was so beautiful from various of areas of the cabin both inside as well as outside. The cabin at it's entirely was clean. I enjoyed taking in such a nice elegant decor visual and feel, nonetheless, practical too rustic. Amongst just a couple of the many seen amenities provided there for guest the hot-tub on deck, upstairs fun play with pool table in the cozy recreational upstairs room (too has an overview of the back breathtaking scenery ) the below stoned solo stove fire pit sitting area, gas fire-pit setting on upper deck was all enjoyed. We enjoyed the location be nestled in and far enough away in which you heard nothing outside than nature itself but close enough to get out as we did just a few miles to the small town of Jasper. Too so convenient to take in a drive nearby and see the breathtaking views from the streams, river, etc. The owners, both David & Laurie are so down to earth people. Their hospitality is elite. This peaceful hidden gem could be used for a couple (needing a break from demands and reality) and no doubt a family gathering as well. We look forward to another visit already! The peace we felt while here that was so warranted we both took in and felt as we departed back home. Thank you Oakley's for sharing a little bit of this heavenly setting with us.

Everything about our stay was fantastic. Clean house, stunning views, comfortable beds, table tennis/pool table, stargazing in the hot tub... If you’re looking for an amazing place to stay in Jasper with one of the best views around, this is it!

The house was amazing, my 10 yr old son really enjoyed the entertainment room, pool table and hot tub. I could have lived on the porch. The view was breathtaking, almost surreal. Everything was perfect! It is close enough to Jasper to run into town for a bite to eat if you don't feel like cooking. If you feel like cooking the kitchen has everything you would need. The house is spacious and has an elegant cabin feel. The hosts left us a nice welcome gift and were available for any questions we had. It was just what we needed to recharge from our hectic lives. We will definitely be back in the future.
