The staff was very friendly, and rooms were very clean, thank you for that so much, I was a maid for a 5 Star Hotel back in the day so I always take pride in a room when it is well kept.

Sutter Creek is a cute little town in the foothills of Northern California. This hotel was very clean, very friendly and very convenient

Great. Hotels com messed up but the staff member took care of everything.

It is a dressed up Days Inn, which is was previous to being acquired. Elevator out of service, the outside exit was propped up on pilings. Doors to the rooms barely close. People walking on second floor extremely loud so the insulation is poor. Breakfast offered but very average. Can't leave your bags early before check-in. For $200 plus a night, its a way overpriced place. Even the bar that they advertise is 'under construction' and the sign has been out front for almost a year.

No room key’s available, elevator broken down, false fire alarm at 12:45am, had to evacuate. Site says breakfast included but is poor excuse of danish. Staff was great and apologetic. Place is nice but poorly managed.

The staff was pretty rude and unhelpful. We got into town for a wedding and asked if we could check in a little early as the wedding started at 3 (same time as check in). Girl at the front desk said “mmm probably not”…… um ma’am, you’re the one who can tell me if we can check in early, to which she replied “you can check in at 10 when the weddings over”. Honestly if it wasn’t such a small town and we had more options I probably would have cancelled our stay and booked somewhere else.

Hotel is amazing. Shower was the highlight of the trip. Large room w/nice size bathroom , dining table for 4-6 persons, queen bed w/bunked separate room, 2 nice size TV with lots channels, WiFi good. This was excellent place to stay and will come back again. The reason only 4 stars is because TV did not get fixed til 9pm at night, and elevator out of service on last day. We were on 2nd floor so hauling suitcases etc. down to car was a pain. Otherwise great place.

There was some construction going on, but it was not a distraction to the rest of the property. The main TV did not work, said it was downloading an update or something. The one in the bedroom worked. The breakfast in the morning was...ummm... barely. But better choices were available nearby.

Loved the location of the hotel. Very nice inside. Nice room. Bad mattress! Lumpy and worn out.

We were in room 202. The bathroom faucet needs some adjusting and the toilet seat is loose. We have stayed here twice because it is close to family in Amador City. It will be our go to

This recently updated hotel is still under construction in some parts such as the Finch Bar and ground floor area. The rooms are nice, and the beds, as far as our family was concerned, were comfortable. The linens were fresh and plentiful as well as the amenities such as soap, shampoo and lotion. The lobby had reading material, nice seating and fresh water and coffee. The staff was nice and helpful when I had questions. The one slight complaint I have was that in my daughter's bunkbed suite room where she stayed with my grandchildren, the armchair and bean bag had some white dried residue/stain which housekeeping should really have checked and removed for deep cleaning and sanitation. Understanding that humans have bodily fluids, it is extremely important that housekeeping check and double-check furniture, beanbags and rugs for stains and quickly sanitize as needed. In other areas, the ground floor and lobby restrooms were stocked with paper and seat supplies and maintained for cleanliness. The glass doors at the entry and door handles in and around our rooms were cleaned and wiped so please keep it up! Good luck to Kiota Inn's success. It is very convenient to historic downtown Sutter Creek, its restaurants and boutique and antique gift shops. Also, it is 7 minute walking distance to The Gardens at Sutter Creek, where my daughter and her husband married. Lastly, there is ample parking and property cameras that the staff can view.

Need to concrete and cleanup at right side door entrance the rest of facility is nice ! Also, EMILY was wonderful helping me with TV issues, the managers were helpful as well !

The room was clean and comfy

I had requested an early check in. 12pm. As I was just dropping off stuff and going to do a photo shoot for a wedding. Hotel staff said no problem. Well it was a problem. They gave us the run around. Couldn’t check in until 2pm. We came back at 2 pm ( left the wedding site to get dressed) they wouldn’t let me check in again. Well I wasn’t able to shower and change for the wedding. Had to sweat it out for the day.

The woman at the front desk was very helpful. We enjoyed our spacious room.

Very clean, hotel has been newly remodeled. Had lots of usb ports to plug in your device cables. Would recommend this to stay in if you are in the area.

Overall ok. Heater didnt work- it was cold. Could use more blankets. Room coffee maker didnt work. However the gentleman that worked at the bar/restaurant Wednesday night was super nice and helpful

Room was comfortable and nice. Ongoing construction made it hard to get in and out of one of the doors. The night time clerk who checked us in had some kind of problem (a case of racism, maybe?) and ignored the bell until I went behind the desk to get her. It was an annoying start but we still managed to have a nice stay.

Great Staff! Front desk was super helpful and assisted in a surprise birthday event. Room was basic and clean. Nice bed. Close enough to walk to Main Street Sutter Creek. Free breakfast wasn't worth doing and the area was not being cleaned up regularly.

Friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful lobby. The only issue I had was that some areas of my room were dirty with crumbs, dirt, and hair :/

We had a very nice stay. Our room was very spacious, spotlessly clean with a very comfortable bed. The receptionist was very pleasant and helpful. . We will definitely stay here again as it was terrific.
