I don’t ever write reviews. The people at the front desk are friendly. That’s the only positive. This place is just old and dirty. Outlets didn’t work bathroom door wouldn’t close without great effort. Found hair on the sheets when we pulled the cover back.
For those who are unfamiliar with Jacksonville like I was, this is not a prime location. It’s not necessarily dangerous but it is definitely seedy.
I would never stay here again even if it was free.

We think its better to make a dislike list for this motel. TV and phone didnt work, mold around tub, lukewarm water, dirty floors, old bedding, gap around the door.

This place is awesome if you are visiting no frills. That is exactly why I was there. The staff is amazing and my room was updated and spotless clean. No frills means no frills. No shampoo, no soap, no coffee or coffee maker, no ice, no iron, no ironing board, no laundry service and no place to hang your clothes...also, no pool, I didn't see a vending machine but, it does supply a fridge w/freezer space to make ice. That is exactly what I needed and the price was just right for that. This place is close to everything you might need. Across the street from Walmart. That was great, if you don't have travel size supplies you can get them there. I would recommend you stay here for price and purpose but not vacation...Clean and a great value for a no nonsense stay.

I loved the front desk staff. They made it super easy to check in and quick. I was able to relax as the room was clean and the mattress was extremely comfortable!!

AWESOME and I really want to keep it a Secret. Rooms are amazing and I love clean and added my standards, ALSO I check for clean AC/Filters and clean walls, doors, window inside and out myself. Midtown AC/Filter WAS CLEAN and well maintained. I was SHOCKED. The PRICE is unbelievable and I have stayed at Hiltons, Holiday Inn and paid 78 dollars to 97.00 at the Airport and they were Nasty and a HAVEN for germs and Bacteria. I had to clean both hotels AC/Filter and entire room with BLEACH and DAWN as I use My own Linen and Towels Always!

I booked this Midtown lodge by mistake. I wanted Emerson Inn across Phillips Highway. I was very surprised of the room cleanliness and they even cleaned the AC filters, which is rare. Very quiet and well lighted. The PRICE is really unbelievable to get such immaculate service, clean rooms and convenience to shop 3 mins away and restaurant in reach. I am very clean and picky. This shut me up. I am still mesmerized of the conditions and PRICE. I will stay@Midtown Lodge before going anywhere else when I am in DUVAL Florida.

Had a customer rating of 8/10 stars so thought it would be a nice place to stay and take a chance for the night. Should have went with my gut at $45 a night. Lots of riff raff all hours of the night. Shady. That's outside. Inside is worse. Found a caockroach on the wall. The bathroom was not cleaned. Old urin stains around the toilet. What looked like someone blew their nose in the shower. Hair, dirt, mildew in the tub( didn't want to take a shower in it) broken beds. Cigerette burns on the blankets in our " nonsmoking room" but Hey, $45 AND a happening stripclub right down the street! Can't beat it!😂

I booked this for being an affordable option that was available in a pinch so I didn’t totally care about quality. But even then I was pleasantly surprised! The room was clean and well set up with quite a few nice amenities I wasn’t expecting. Also the staff has been amazing!! I needed to extend my stay right before 4th of July and they made it super easy. Love love love!
