Aside from two injuries sustained due to poor condition of stairs we enjoyed the view from the rooftop deck. Our feet, however, were blackened by the accumulated dirt and grunge on the rooftop deck that appears to go unaddressed. The fridge bracing inside door was broken and kept falling out. Some windows were duct taped shut. Remaining windows were very hard to use/open. Overall for the money I spent, the condition of this home and our related experience was a substantial letdown. I will not rent it again.

I rented this property for my daughter's wedding. It was located right at the beach where the wedding was to take place.The property's floor was dirty. My daughter woke up covered in ants. Stains on the bedspreads. When I called the rental company Hanna said they would send cleaners, new bedspreads and exterminators. The only thing they followed through with was the exterminators. In addition, the freezer rack is very rusty, makes it feel dirty. Could easily spray appliance paint on it to freshen it up (ice trays old and cracked, very cheap at Ikea to replace). Disappointed in rental companies follow through.

The property and location was ideal. The only complaint I have is the parking. The carport photo didn’t list which space was for A. The staff informed me of the measurements for spot C not A. Upon arriving letters were added above spaces: C B A. Not A B C. Throughout the week I had to find parking. The ‘kids’ in C were extremely loud, late into the night and had numerous cars in the carport. I probably wouldn’t request this house due to the parking. Thank you.

We had a great time at this beachfront property. There was a school park out front, a couple of doors down , which was great for our little kids. The beach is huge, with amazing sand and fairly quiet. There were miles of paved paths to walk with our stroller, which was perfect for us. It is a beautiful spot with a great front patio, perfect for people watching and watching the kids play in the sand. The unit is clean and functional, and stocked with what we needed, but is a little run down in a couple of areas. Specifically, the couch and front blinds need replacing. The parking stall for our particular unit was small given that it is the biggest unit of the three and a family vehicle was required (the other two smaller units had wider spaces). It would have been nice if beach towels were supplied as most people do not travel with them for the whole family. Overall we would not hesitate to stay here again. With some minor upgrades this place would be a home run.

This was a great property in a fantastic location! there was so much for the kids to do with the play ground and areas to ride scooters, roller blades, skate boards. The house was set up perfectly for everything that we needed, we would definitely stay here again.

Our 11th year in this house...and very very little improvements. They are made when absolutlty necessary and done the cheapest way. The sofa/love seat was a joke. There is no support, no cushins, the bottom sinks, those must be replaced.

Great location but the neighbor was very grumpy and complained when we were playing a board game or kids were laughing. only 2 roles of toilet paper provided. I think this should be communicated to renter so they know to bring.

This was our fourth year in a row staying @1404A Ocean Front in Newport Beach. We enjoy the location as it affords us the opportunity to invite family & friends to visit in one location instead of traveling all over Southern CA. The location is ideal when we have younger families with small children as they can play in the sand, water & school playground equipment just a few steps from our front door! The beach experience is one that we & our guests really enjoy. The staff(especially, Jane & Alex) were extemely helpful with our needs & answered our questions about local services & attractions. The only negative I can report is that for a rental of this stature & expence, I would expect more attention to detail when it comes to cleanliness. Clean window sills/clean window screens/a vacuum cleaner that actually picks up dirt/window blinds that work & are cleaned at least once a year & a bathromm fan(front bathroom) that works is not asking much. All in all it was a good experience & we are making plans to return next year.

2nd Time at this house. Enjoyed the visit but the unit needs some TLC. Screens were so dirty that you could hardly see through them. Fridge was rusty. Shower nozzle ring was lose from the wall, double bed in master must be replaced! TV small and dated. Blinds are falling apart. We looked at some other ocean front rentals and everything was much nicer. We will be staying elsewhere next time.
