Villa well equipped and spacious. Location is as described and walk into town took us just over 10 mins. The walk back is quite steep so we used taxis which cost about 5 euros a time. Only downside is our neighbours were very noisy as there was a rap festival in Portimao on the last week of June and outside music was blaring most of the week. If you are looking for a quiet week, you might want to avoid this time. It’s not the villas fault and maybe we just were unlucky to have terrible neighbours that week. All was great once they left.

Fantastic villa everything we needed. Jane the owner communicated with us from booking to arriving. Stuart location manager was on hand for anything we needed. Magdalena and colleagues cleaning was second to none. Would definitely book again had an amazing family holiday.

We have stayed in Carvoeiro on numerous occasions in the past but this was the first time due to Covid coming out as a family with our two kids and Grandparents. The villa is very family friendly with our 7 & 3 yr olds absolutely loving the pool and play area in the garden with slide and swings. Contact with the owner before and leading up to our stay was very good. The location of the villa for us was just right with it being far enough away from town to have some peace and quiet but also close enough to easily walk to and from town. The walk back is a bit uphill but a taxi from town is quick and cheap enough if you don’t fancy the walk back. I would definitely recommend this villa and I want to thank the owner Jane, property agent Stuart and cleaner Magdalina for making our family holiday one to remember.

The villa is nice, clean och very well equipped. The private pool is perfect for relaxing after a day on the beach...or instead of a day on the beach :-) We really appreciated the grill which we used several evenings. The surroundings are nice and quiet and suitable for walks (preferably in the morning before it gets too hot). Jane was very informative prior to our arrival and the whole renting/check-in process was very easy and smooth! @Jane: Thanks for letting us stay at your wonderful Casa Maui!!

What an amazing villa in the perfect location! Jane was on hand and answered all my questions before we even arrived. Everything was perfect! My five year old and 1 year old loved the private pool and swings. The villa had everything we would ever need on holiday with young children. Having the pools to use at the main complex, you really do hve the best of both worlds and Carvoeiro is a lovely, family friendly place! We will definitely be back. Thank you!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our ten days of sunshine at Casa Maui. It was spacious, clean, well-equipped and had a lovely terrace and pool and garden. Our two children loved the pool and we enjoyed sitting out on the sun on the terrace, which is nicely shielded and up above the house next door level on the open side. It's about a ten to 15 minutes short walk with kids to the town beach and Carvoeiro centre (downhill there, uphill back) - or a short drive to park close enough for a five minute stroll to the beach. There are also lots of other lovely beaches within 10 to 15 minutes drive nearby - and a bit further afield, such as over to by Faro and Sagres. Jane was a great host and really helpful in terms of booking etc in this awkward time for getting away. We'd definitely come back.

We had a fantastic week in the Algarve based at Casa Maui! Jane the owner was super friendly and informative prior to arrival making the renting/check-in process a breeze. The Casa was clean and well equipped, and our two girls (aged 2 and 5) loved the private pool, swing and slide! The house is also only a few minutes walk to the main complex, with further pools, tennis courts, a bar and restaurant onsite. (The small shop was closed) Whilst a little hilly, the walk down (and back up) to Carvoeiro is lovely, and takes about 20mins each way. Unfortunately, the free shuttle bus was not running during our stay (end of season) We hired a car in any case, so found the location of Casa Maui perfect for getting around generally, with no issues parking when we got back from our days out given the private driveway next to the house itself. Overall, our holiday was fantastic- the highlight of what has otherwise been a miserable year! Thank you Jane for letting us stay at your Casa.

A TV portuguesa quase nunca funcionou bem como o WiFi. Quartos sem estores ou portadas que impedissem a entrada de luz. No geral foi agradável.

It is a beautiful house that has all the comforts, both for adults and children. a quiet area.

We have spent a really good short vacations in a very calm, clean and equipped property. Easy communication with the owner and the house keepers. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful time at Casa Maui. The Villa has everything you could need. It is in a quiet location but not far from the town which you can get to a couple of ways. We enjoyed the steep hills back as was good exercise to burn off all the calories from our meals out. We were so grateful also for the flexibility regarding our check in and check out as we had late flights both ways. Thank you Jane, Stuart and Magdalena we loved the villa and my boys really loved the pool despite it being very cold.

This was our 11th visit to Carvoeiro but first time in this villa and everything about it was excellent....location, the outdoor space...well equipped kitchen. Would definitely recommend!

The villa was really lovely. Comfortable, clean and welcoming. Having the extra pools and use of the complex was an added bonus. The villa was in a great location and walkable into Carvoeiro, which was a lovely little town with a fabulous choice of restaurants. Jane and her team were very easy to communicate with. We can se why people return.

We had a fabulous relaxing holiday in this very comfortable villa. We loved the location as we could walk to many great restaurants as well as enjoying the villa’s lovely pool and garden. We will definitely come back!

This was our first family holiday in Portugal and Casa Maui was fantastic. From the pool to the accommodation everything was perfect. Short stroll into Carvoeiro for the great restaurants and beautiful beaches nearby. We used the pool in Quinta Da Paraiso as well. House was spotless clean and linen was changed mid holiday. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this villa and hope to return ourselves. Wifi was perfect. Kids loved waking up in the morning and jumping straight into the pool. Overall a memorable holiday.

We enjoyed our stay in Casa Maui. The villa is very well equipped with a great pool area. We walked into town most evenings it took only 10 minutes. A little longer walking back but there is a very pretty square nearby with a handful of bars and restaurants if you don’t want the walk up and down the hill. One of the restaurants, O Salmao, was our favourite of all the ones we tried during our stay. Carveiro is a lovely town with ample shops bars and restaurants. We would definitely recommend this villa for a peaceful and relaxing holiday.

I can’t fault the villa in terms of cleanliness and facilities. There were 5 of us (56, 20, 20, 14, 14) and there was plenty of room. Everyone enjoyed the pool and everything we could possibly need was available, including fantastic air conditioning throughout. The villa is on the resort of Quinta do Paraiso which is around 15-20 minutes from the beach in Carvoeiro, depending on how fast you consider a stroll and the 20 mins it took me was the only negative (I used taxis to get back, as an uphill stroll of 30+ mins, in the heat, wasn’t for me). Carvoeiro has lots of restaurants, bars and cafes and a fabulous beach. The resort of Quinta de Paraíso offers further swimming pools and a Poolside Restaurant, which was friendly and handy. In all, a fantastic villa, in a lovely area, which I would recommend.

We spent two very happy and comfortable weeks at Casa Maui. It's undoubtedly the best equipped villa of any we've stayed at, with every possible amenity provided. The kitchen was superbly equipped - not just in terms of kitchen equipment and crockery/cutlery etc, but basic kitchen ingredients and soap/dishwasher tabs, washing up liquid, bin bags etc. there were other little touches which are not always provided with a villa stay - such as hairdryer, hair straighteners and bathrooms were supplied with soap and shower cream. There is a good selection of books/CDs (and player) and two different systems for the TV - including British channels on one system. There is also plenty of information in the form of maps and guides for exploring the area. The aircon was highly efficient and wifi signal strong and constant. It was a pleasure to deal with Jane before and during our stay. Stuart was highly conscientious in making sure that the pool was always clean, as was Madalena with the house. The villa is in a great location with facilities on site if you wanted a large pool or some entertainment. We didn't eat at the onsite restaurant but they do a full take-out menu. The shop is pricey but handy for picking up freshly baked bread in the morning and useful if you don't have a car. It's only a 15 minute walk in to town but we used Uber a few times too for around 3 euros. There are several restaurants within 10 mins walking distance. I can't recommend this villa highly enough and we will definitely be looking to stay here next time we visit Carvoiero

I would highly recommend Casa Maui. Great facilities and lovely villa. Our 18 month year old loved the freedom of the garden with a slide and swing. Town and beach is only a 10-15 minute walk away. A lot of information left in the house for visitors and when we the washing machine broke, the handy man had it fixed within the hour. Thanks for letting us stay

This property is in a quiet sub-division just a 10 minute walk to Carvoeiro.With Casa Maui being so close to town it was easy to explore ,shop,& dine ! Stu the property manager was very helpful & always available if needed.Madelina the maid kept the property spotless . The gardens around the pool were very inviting !We enjoyed staying at this property & would highly recommend it !!!

As stated, this is the second time in 3 years we have stayed at this property. All I can say is that we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Just a super villa in a secluded private estate - calm and peaceful. We will always come back to this villa should we stay again in the Algarve. Super place as always.
