Lovely traditional hotel with an amazing view over the canal. Great location close to the main square. Staff were extremely knowledgeable, friendly & welcoming. I will definitely stay here again

A lovely and very comfortable hotel with all mod cons and a touch of luxury but without loosing its old world charm. My husband and I stayed in a delux suite with canal view. Very, very spacious, lovely decor, the bathroom was huge with a superb shower and great pressure. We loved the separate loo with a heated seat that automatically lifted when you went in❤️ Our only niggle was the pillows, (and bed to a degree) were a little harder than we’re used too but in no way did it spoil our stay. It is also a shame that the hotel don’t do evening meals, just breakfast but there are plenty of restaurants near by. Very peaceful, quiet hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Would stay here again if we return to Bruges☺️

Great position walkable to all major attractions. Beware taxi from station seemed to go the long way check out bus system. Reception officious but not overly friendly.

This was a great location on the canal! The room was large, nicely finished with a new bathroom ! The issue was the condition of the carpet that was badly stained and we had a rip in our duvet cover. The same in the hallway carpet was stained and in some cases ripped! Staff was ok but not real friendly or welcoming! Traffic noise was a moderate issue! This could be wonderful with a little TLC. I

For the price you pay, I would have expected better. If you want a canal view, make sure you don't get the room on the street. Very noisy and not much privacy. The bath was scratched quite a lot and stained.
On the other hand, staff were great, as was the breakfast.

My room was much smaller than expected, the a/c could not be adjusted, and my door was next to the lobby so it was noisy. The staff were very helpful and the building is lovely and in a nice location, but my bed was hard and tilted, and the room was not comfortable.
