Was not told of remodel/construction ahead of time. If known I would not have booked there. At check out I was told that I should not have been placed in that room. Housekeeping was poor. I was told to call housekeeping by a certain time, I did but did not receive service or fresh towels until approximately 7 pm.

The shower was broke, we could not take shower. Shower head was broke. First room we could not open door so the hotel moved to a second room with broke shower head.

Power went out in entire room at one point, ice machines not working on two levels, no towels in the gym. Golf course was closed for a month, was and is not noted on their website. Daily resort fee is mostly for golf. No legit restaurants around Dennys and counter service places. Would not stay again.

Very nice and clean. Service was great. That is all I require.

Property was nice. Great bar. And restaurant for brunch was nice. The pool was fun. Has a bar at the pool.

All went well. Staff was great Our only issue was our shower was draining very slow but it was addressed corrected promptly. Other than that, would be nice if the room had microwaves to heat up our food from the restaurant.

Such a quiet and clean hotel. The only thing was that the ice machines weren’t working. The pool was clean and me and my kids had a blast.

What I liked the most is that the doubletree is pet friendly. Also the pool party was nice

Overall, it was not a horrible experience. I will say that we had an issue with our AC when we first got into our room. My boyfriend called & notified the front desk. They sent someone up who ultimately told us that heat rises & there was nothing he could do. When asked if we could switch rooms he told us there were none available. I called the front desk again to let them know that there was in fact a problem with our AC & it wasn’t just because heat rises………… Anyways, the lovely gentleman (I believe his name was Ulysses - sorry if I’m wrong) asked if we wanted to switch rooms to which we absolutely said yes. But we also thought it was weird considering we had just been told there were none available. He came up right away to give us our keys. Our other rooms AC was working at max capacity & you could feel the difference. The cleanliness was subpar. I didn’t expect the Ritz, but I was pretty disappointed to find someone else’s hair in our box of tissues & in our bathtub. The pool was great. Pool bar was great. We had no complaints there. I would stay here again, for sure. For the price, you can’t beat it. But I do hope that there will be a bit more focus on maintenance training & more focus on cleanliness.
