First, I don't know what the draw of Dickson TN is but stay someplace else. ALL of the hotels are over priced, Espcially the Days Inn for what you get. I stopped there because it was a good layover site on my drive back from Austin, TX. The room had a combination musty/Mr. Clean smell. The linens were a "washed too many times" gray. Everything that could be rusty in the room was. This included the door hinges, the toilet paper holder and a panel on the ceiling. I will say the bathroom had clearly recently been remodeled but in the end the room was not work the $95 I paid for it. On my way to Austin I stayed at a hotel a few miles west of Dickson that was only $75 and had a much nicer room.

We did not specify a non smoking room. Well the room was where you would breath the smoke, air conditioner comer was broken, no fire alarms in room and a corner of the room looked like the wood was rotten. I took pictures but I don’t think I know how to submit them to you. SORRY. Hadn’t had any problems before.

Needed a stop over driving home from Dallas. Just the basics please. Fine for that. Sketchy, grungy parking lots. Not a lot of food choices.

The pool wasnt open as advertised. The bed spread was dirty/stained. The floor was filthy. If you walked in bare feet in the room, your feet were black.

My “non-smoking” room reeked of smoke that was difficult to clear with an open door and fan running. The bedspread was spotted. There were obvious stains on the floor around the sink and in the sink. The bath tub with rails was as requested but paired with an extra low toilet without any nearby rails to help those seated in such a low position.

I checked us in and was given the 2 keys. I walked into the first room and it smelled terrible. I walked into the second one and it looked like someone had slept in the bed and left it unmade. The smell was also terrible in this one. At that point, I went directly back to the office and told her that the second room looked like someone was already checked in there or it hadn’t been cleaned that day. She told me it was impossible and showed me the cleaning log for the day and dismissed me….I needed a place for me and my kids to stay, as I had been driving for 13 hours that day and wasn’t safe to continue. We had already paid, so we all just slept on top of the covers and left as soon as we got up at 6am. The place was just nasty. I wish I had never put myself or my kids through that. A pic has been added of the way the bed was found in the 2nd room.

Toilet did not work. It wouldnt flush, very gross. The lady at the desk kept my i.d., thank goodness the lady the next day caught me before i left or else id be in another state without it. She had no idea why the night lady didnt call and tell me. The beds were hard but otherwise everything else was okay. I probably wouldnt stay there again though.

They have more channels to choose from than a lot of other motels around dickson and their beds are comfortable.

When you check in a motel and they say check out time is eleven, you don't expect to just run down the road to grab some breakfast. Come back and find your room has been ransacked by the housekeeping that cannot speak English. They go in and they open your curtain. They leave your door open and your belongings are still in there. And you tell them when they're sleeping the parking lot. No, I'm not checking out yet. I'm just going to go get some breakfast.

I had a relatively comfortable stay, which was a last-minute stop. Aside from the street noise and the other tenants being a bit loud outside my door, it was a pleasant experience.
