One night stay for procedure at NIH. Beautiful hotel. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Parking garage was challenging.

Everything was good enough except for the valet service for parking, and that was so bad that I won’t be returning. It was just a mess - not really a valet but just a very expensive upcharge on self-parking since they want you to wait for them to go park your car and get the garage ticket it spits out, and then they have to get it validated at the front desk to get the car out when you need it. It also took forever to get my car when I needed it - I called down to say I’d need it in ten minutes, but the front desk clerk had not even brought it to the driver when I got downstairs. Then because of their stupid practices, they took another fifteen on top of that to actually get me my car, and the guy was really surly about it. (The guy there in the morning was very pleasant and professional, but he was still hampered by their stupid process.) I am not staying there again to pay $45 a NIGHT for that absurdity. Too many other options nearby.

Our room was spacious, clean, quiet and comfortable. The front desk staff were great, especially Omar - genuinely nice people & and happy to answer our questions as out of state visitors. The Metro line is a one-minute walk from the front door so very convenient for getting downtown quickly.

The hotel is beautiful and clean. My only complaint is that for the price, the bottles of water in the room were only for "Elite" members. Not a deal breaker, but still.

It was over booked for the balcony room, which I was downgraded with a way smaller room When I show my frustration, I was ask is the only reason why I was getting a balcony room was to smoke and I don’t even smoke even though this is a smoke free hotel . I just think the room with the balcony are bigger

Squeaking noise in AC, 3 calls to front desk to get pillows delivered. Long check in because they don’t have me assigned the room with a balcony I paid for. Nothing special for such an expensive hotel.

Everything was amazing except for the check-in process. The employee who did it had an attitude. Otherwise, everything else was perfect. This is our 2nd time staying with the the Hyatt Regency and we were not disappointed!

Bathtub was dirty, and housekeeping was not available to clean it. I had to put on my clothes pack up my belongings after being informed front desk re-located me to another room. That bathtub was also dirty. I took the liberty to wash in the bathroom sink.

I had a very pleasant stay. The property is really clean and quiet. My room was very spacious and well furnished. There was plenty of lighting and there were many small but functional details that made my stay easy. The valley service and the self-parking options were appropriately priced. The rooms service was to my satisfaction. I recommend this Hyatt Regency Bethesda location!

I did not like that the hotel had very limited eating options. I prefer the option of adding breakfast to the room rate.

I enjoyed my stay. I had several family members also staying at this property. It was quiet and I felt secure. Esthetically, it is somewhat bland, but the room was clean and had all the modern touches. The beds were fair, not as comfortable as I expected. I would stay here again. It is walking distance to Metro, good restaurants, things to do.

Liked having valet parking. Desk staff was friendly and helpful. My room was excellent. Starbucks in the lobby offered much more than I expected. Will stay there again on my next visit.

Room was not cool. Moved rooms 2nd night and it was a little cooler. But went to a friend's room and it was obvious their air condition was working.

We come down here quite often to visit our daughter. We do like the price and the location of this hotel however, the last two times we stayed we’ve had issues with the room. Fortunately management made restitution and reference to those issues and we do appreciate that. just wish those issues would stop happening Because we do this property

The front desk lady in all black has the longest face I’ve ever seen. Jesus Christ girl would it kill you to smile a little bit and not glare at me all the time? Also the room doesn’t have slippers or toothbrush and I thought these were standard items

There was no place to eat at the hotel. Restaurants near the area closed at 10pm. Steakhouse adjacent to the hotel opened at 5pm for dinner and closed at 10pm. The area is walkable to restaurants, but the hotel staff did not provide a map of dining areas. The room had coffee maker, but no place to plug it in. I didn't feel welcomed at hotel as the staff didn't seem friendly or helpful. I wasn't made aware that there was a Starbucks and another coffee shop close by. The king room I booked wasn't available. I recommend making maps available to customers that shows eating areas, drug sores, and entertainment areas. I was unpleasantly surprised with the mediocrity of the staff for such a nice facility with so much potential.
