Had some issues with some things in the room but they were taken care of promply. Very nice staff. Beds were comfortable. Small but decent breakfast.

Very basic hotel but for the price it met our needs. The place could definitely use a facelift, fresh coat of paint, but it wasn't filthy. The stairwells were filthy. The floors in the room were just a little dirty. At least the beds seemed clean. I think they were struggling with hiring employees. If you need a job you may want to ask if they're hiring.

The front desk was super friendly and helpful. For the price we knew it wasn’t going to be glamorous. The only thing that bothered us was the odor of the room. It was musky as could be. Really heavy mildew that was over baring. Cleanliness was a bit sketchy.

I would reccomend using another booking agent. Hotels.com was absolutely horrible for this stay. First, the room for the reservation that I made and confirmed was not available at check in, i was informed when i arrived that the hotel had no more rooms and they directed me to an alternate hotel 15 minutes and 10 miles awY from my original stay. When I arrived at the alternate hotel i was then informed they only had a king bed room, when my reservation was for 2 double beds since i wasnt traveling alone. I was advised i needed to take the king bed room or cancel my stay and find a new hotel (at 1am) by rhe way. To make it worse you are unable to contact Hotels.com customer service directly to try and sort things out and you must submit an email, to which i did and still have no reply back ... worst service ever and they completely left us out to dry with no support

I checked in and was told to park around the other side of the building. In doing so myself and my two children encountered a scantily clad woman who seemed to be under the influence of drugs yelling off into the distance.
We stayed in our vehicle for a few minutes to see if it would stop and she did not. My daughter proceeded to ask if we had to stay here in which I replied we do not. Drove off and found another hotel to stay in. Absolutely awful

Simple hotel right around the corner from the causeway to Cedar Point. We stayed here 5 years ago, and since then they have cleaned up the rooms, so everything was fresh.
They have a hot breakfast which was good on day 1 of 3 - with scrambled eggs and sausage, but day 2 and 3 they just filled the egg area with extra sausage.... but they did have the make your own waffles so that was good.
The area outside the hotel is a little run down since most of the hotels are up on the highway, but if your looking for an inexpensive place near the causeway this place is great.

The building was slightly run down but the rooms were decent. I needed a place to stay over night and it isn’t anything special but it was a decent place to stay.

Aged hotel that still meets the needs of a weary vacationer. Quiet for sleeping in a bit after days at the amusement park.

The property is in pretty good shape , check in was quick and easy , one suggestion would be if the know the room is being rented they need to leave the ac on it took forever for the room to cool down. Overall would stay there again.

Pretty expensive place to stay for the condition it was in, needs updated. Bed was good but carpet was nasty, needed cleaned and/or replaced.

We checked in to room 120 as soon as we open the door the smell of mold and mildew hit you in the face the tv didn’t work the sheets were dirty and the dust and spider webs was horrible
The nice lady came to the room to try to fix and agreed that the room was horrible she moved us and said she would put the room out of order. The next room had the same smell smell dirty sheets and mouse droppings behind the bathroom door
I don’t know how this hotel is considered up to code with city guidelines

Huge gap at the bottom of the door, you could see outside through it which lets in bugs. Linens looked to be clean but the floor in the bathroom was nasty and seemed to be an unsafe neighborhood

The room was clean and comfortable. I loved the patio with tables. I sat outside and with the hedges it was private and very relaxing. The staff was so friendly and caring. Great selection of breakfast food.

Place served its purpose although the area seemed a little sketchy. Didnt like being put on the bwck side of the building where we had tonhaul all our stuff from. The back parking lot was dark and felt unsafe. We parked in the main lot and made multiple trips. There was a homeless man sleeping in the corridor. The best part was all of the employees were 100% kind, thoughtful and professional. Really made us feel welcomed. From the front desk, breakfast gitl and all the housekeeping. I thought this hotel would be mostly filled up with cedar point travelers, but it was not. Although it fit its purpose, next time ill pay the extra few bucks and stay at one of the hotels, not motels, closer to the park.

The staff really tried to make the stay great. They were polite, kind, and caring.
The facility was just okay. There was an odd smell in the room when we got there. Musty or old smoke. There was a guy smoking joint outside our room at 9pm when I brought pizza in. In the morning a woman had her curtains open and sat on the bed completely naked for all to see. The staff had no control over these variables. The whole situation was just off.
