Spent 1 night in Sofitel Ajaccio. We are big fans of the Sofitel brand and this was a big let down. The location is great, quite private and the views are incredible from rooms and public spaces. The airport is quite close hence there is some noise from the planes. The biggest issue for us was the room. The room and furniture were extremely dated and room felt super cluttered. The bed was great as always. Bathroom was terrible. Pool are is fabulous, as is the garden. Beach is just ok. Had dinner at their gastronomic restaurant and we were very disappointed.

Very good stay. Beautifully situated property with panoramic views. Great pool. Staff are very friendly but some appear freshly hired. Breakfast buffet was fine but the coffee served leaves much to be desired (worse than Sanka).

Hotel was in a beautiful location. Property is dated, bathrooms and rooms are dated. No AC in any hotel areas other than rooms. Fitness center was literally a sauna as there was no AC and the doors were left open. Very small beach with limited chairs. Best aspect of hotel were the location and views.

The spa change room was dirty, the massage therapist does not know what deep tissue requires, pillows in the Bar chairs have torn seems, our room was not ready, our friend in the spa was asked to return to her room to put on a robe. The chairs in Bar have more relevance to design than for comfort. Etc.

After very poor reception on arrival where we were told to fetch our own bags from the car as no-one on duty- (6.00pm on a Friday!) the staff were friendly and helpful. However room needs a lot of attention and furniture on terrace was old and dirty as were carpets throughout. Pool and gardens beautiful but pity that a sewage pipe was visible from our terrace.

A wonderful high end hotel outside of Ajaccio. With a car you can easily visit surrounding areas and then return to the seclusion of this hotel. Overall we were pleased with our room and the beautiful grounds.

Great spa facility, great trainers in the fitness area of the spa Tonique marche fitness program is free of charge and a great opportunity to see the grounds surrounding the hotel Restaurant and bar staff very helpful and professional Great private beach. fantastic experience all around and highly recommended. Beautiful location, amazing views, private beach, romantic...excellent service. if you're coming to Corsica and want to indulge for a bit, this is the place.

Incredible service and location. Wish we had stayed longer than just two days. Great private beach but also great proximity to other amazing beaches. Excelled breakfast buffet and wonderful dinner. Miss it!

Great experience. I hurt my foot while I was there and the staff was very kind and brought me ice all day and night. I stayed there for a week with my daughter celebrating her college graduation and we loved the atmosphere. We were glad we stayed there vs. Ajaccio. Ajaccio was a very easy 20 min drive but a lore more crowded.

From the reviews and pictures, my expectations were perhaps too high. But for the price of the room, I fully expected a lovely resort to spend three sunny days. Unfortunately, the rod and exterior of the property are rather dated. The grassy area and pool are fine, but the pool water was quite cool (cold) and no jacuzzi was available to aid the situation. We had a late lunch by the pool, and again were very disappointed with the food quality. It was quite pricey and not very good. Although we had hoped to eat dinner at the hotel, we decided not to after our lunch experience. The hotel is located on a beautiful point with lovely views, but the surrounding area is also quite rundown and we found it extremely difficult to find places to eat locally (with the exception of an amazing bakery/patisserie nearby for breakfast). We ended up eating pizza in Ajaccio one evening and dining in a small mountain town another. I would not recommend this hotel as a result of the isolated location, poor quality restaurant and dated exterior.
