We knew this was a value property, as they state many times in responses to reviews (‘cheapest in Canmore’ is their claim). And it shows. Luckily the linens and general cleanliness of the space was spotless. But the unit itself needs work, and not just for curb appeal. The room smelled like wet ski boots and mold. It felt as though no air circulated (based on how the odors would never fully clear out of the space) but leaving windows opened made for a very loud evening/morning. Our unit was near the stairs so we heard every step other guests took outside of the bedroom. Simple things like new kitchenware, replacing the carpeted areas and rusty shower rods, having drains that actually drain, would make a big difference. We usually stay at another condo unit in Canmore but they were booked this trip, so we decided to save $50/night… our mistake, and one we won’t make ever again.

This property was great! Most comfortable beds, linens and pillows out of a lot of hotels I’ve stayed at. Went above and beyond and called us half an hour after check in to make sure we were happy and had everything we needed. Very clean and comfortable. All we would suggest is paper towels for room as ours had a kitchen. Would definitely stay here again!!!

The bathtub was great for sore hiking knees and legs.

The hotel was quaint, but nice, great water pressure in the shower 👍Quiet rooms, beautiful views of the surrounding mountains.

We cooked in the kitchen and still had access to restaurants when we chose.

For the price of $349, it was certainly nothing special. I felt exploited. It was fine, just NOT a luxury property.

This hotel is handy if you have a pet. You can be on ground level and have an outside door in your room. The place is dated And if it was anywhere else ibut Canmore It would probably be a third of the price. I had a few issues, but the hotel staff looked after them

The pictures and description of the property when booked did not match up. To the older style basic motel room we were placed in. Certainly the cost exceeded the value. On our family outward trip via Canmore 4 days earlier booked via air BnB we had a kitchen and seperate bedroom for the same price.

We enjoyed our stay! They were so accommodating with our dog and we really appreciated that. The property is a little dated but hey I’m not complaining! They had everything we needed (kitchen stuff for cooking, AC, wifi) and their staff was wonderful.

Prefect area to stay when exploring all the national parks. Easy to get back on the highway in the mornings and only a few minute drive to downtown Canmore for tons of dining options.

This is an older hotel / motel appx 40 years. It has a great history of use by various international ski teams. Furnishings and finishes were dated, but neat and clean. As used as a ski lodge, stair and railing durable but hard to climb and grab.

Beds were comfortable. Amenities including sauna and hot spa were decent. However, water in shower tub didn't drain well, bathroom was not very clean, and did not like the odor of the room.

Area around the property was well kept. Staff professional

Amazing view of the nearby mountains! But dated facilities. We had to get a replacement room because of a leaking sink. Staff are courteous and very prompt.

A very cute apt like accommodation with a nice kitchenette, large tv and a comfortable bed. Couldn’t ask for more!

Hotel looks great from the street side. View from the back is much more earthy. Room was fine but could have been cleaner. TV remote needed new batteries. Ice maker and washing machines on premises but only open from 8:30am to 10pm.
