At 330 I checked back and told it still was not ready. We would receive a text. At 530, still no text I checked back and told our room was finally ready.

Our stay was amazing! We love everything about the place. I did wish we had a microwave in the room. We had expensive leftovers that we couldn't heat up. That was the only disappointing thing I would say.

Before booking and arriving, I had several phone calls as well as email contacts with the property. I was NOT told the truth about what the "cottage" was. We got there and it was basically a hotel room with two beds that was located away from the main lodge. I am handicapped and this place was in no way ADA compliant. To top that off, there is a soft spot in the floor that we were afraid to walk on, no handrails in the bathroom, paint is peeling. They did offer to move us to a 2 bedroom cottage, though both bedrooms are upstairs and I can't climb stairs. The next offer was a one bedroom with a sleeper sofa. What!!! The only redeeming thing about this place was our server at breakfast, a young man named Byron. They should make him manager or at least put him in charge of training people on customer service and courtesy. I'd hire that young man in a heartbeat. He almost made up for the rest of the awful stay.

Great hotel conveniently located in Yosemite park. Guest are allowed to eat and drink in the pool which really put me off on the swim in the pool.

Wonderful hotel conveniently located 5 minutes from the park entrance. Food options are varied but expensive. The pool area is excellent, but there are many families staying here so not good if you want a quieter experience (at least in August when we stayed).

Beautiful hotel, great customer service but the food was terrible. My husband and I didn’t care for one meal the entire weekend and the prices per dish were high.

Perfect location for visiting Yosemite. Friendly staff, helpful and accommodating, clean rooms and newly remodeled. Comfy bedding, coffee machine with daily coffee refills. Nice game room for kids. Nice pool area. Food was the only huge disappointment. Extremely expensive (they take advantage of the fact that you don’t have an alternative unless you travel to the next town which is quite a drive away), but the worst is not the high price, it’s that portion sizes and quality are really really really bad, the absolute worst is the breakfast buffet, only topped by 120$ for three small pizzas and three drinks (soft drink, a wine and a beer) that were simple frozen industrial ready pizzas served on paper plates and drinks including wine in plastic glasses - an absolute disgrace and waste of money served in an ambience with strong chlorine smell.

Property itself is great, as is food and staff. Location is quite a drive from park sights but the drive itself and views are amazing (some roads not for the front hearted).

Brilliant hotel with luxurious clean rooms. Good food and easy parking. There are washing machines and tumble dryers which were self service - great if you’re doing a roadtrip! Small shop selling various things including breakfast items. Very busy pool when we were there but it was incredibly hot. Perhaps think about additional sun beds and more brollies.

Excellent choice right outside of Yosemite’s southern entrance. The hotel has full amenities with indoor and outdoor pools, restaurants, deli, and shopping. For families needing laundry, the hotel has a laundry room available. Also, water is free so no need to buy it as it is at other hotels. The room we stayed in (2queen beds) was spacious and clean. The bathroom is stocked well and there is a door between the toilet and shower area and the vanity area But what we found more outstanding than any other place we stayed (including some high end resorts) is the hospitality of the staff. There was not one thing that we needed during our stay that the staff did not try to make it happen for us. We are very grateful for their smiles and welcoming attitude.

Clean, friendly, helpful and very close to Yosemite Park entrance

Tenaya was such a gem to find and the perfect location for exploring Yosemite. There was so much attention to detail, from the shuttle buggies which ran us back to our cabins from the pool and restaurants, to the games available to play in the evenings with happy hour and smores around the firepits. Jackaloup restaurant was very good as was the pizzeria. The BBQ wasn't such good value for money but we appreciated the outdoor dining experience. The pool area was beautiful and the grounds were clean and very well maintained. We booked an explorer cabin which was fab although a little cramped for the five of us; 2 adults, 2 teens and a younger child. The oversized bunk in the second bedroom wasn't really adequate for the three kids, but we made do as everything else was near-perfect! Fantastic memories. Thank you

We stayed in a cottage at Tenaya Lodge for two nights and we liked it. The room is the cottage was spacious and clean. We had access to a sitting area just outside the cottage which was nice. The cottage turned out to be a room in a 3-room cottage. It was still very nice but I actually expected an independent cottage based on my booking. This could be made a bit clearer on the site. The main lodge (walking distance from the cottages) has a beautiful and spacious lobby. There are two swimming facilities: indoor and outdoor. The floor in the indoor pool was a bit dirty and for some reason the hotel decides to play kids' movies above the pool very loudly. If you don't have kids or your kids are a bit older it totally ruins the experience of an evening swim. The common areas could be a bit cleaner. Even though we very much enjoyed the additional hot tub close to our cottage, the windows and doors in that building haven't been washed in a long time.

This is a very convenient property to drive to Yosemite from the south side. We stayed in a cabin and it was clean, cozy and very comfortable. The lodge has dining, gift shops and a deli/store. We had a laundromat close to our cabin at no charge. We really enjoyed our stay.

Our cabin was not clean upon arrival. We experienced a few other issues during our stay. This is a not a cheap resort so we were disappointed overall.
