Nice and quiet room with great customer service!

Love love love this hotel. Clean rooms, commons pool etc. the complimentary drinks and snacks were great and breakfast set up one of the best with many choices. Don’t bother looking elsewhere it can’t be beat. Also went to concert and short walk.

The first night no service was done. No clean towels, no trash emptied, no cups or coffee. Complained to the front desk and the next night they dropped off towels on the coffee table with cups but no coffee. Complained again to the front desk and they comped the room and did a whole cleaning the next day. They said that their policy doesn't include making the beds and straightening up but that is not stated anywhere.I usually choose a hotel just for that service! I will not stay there again! Very disappointed

Front desk staff were wonderful! Efficient and accommodating. The suite was very comfortable for three adults, good arrangement. We all enjoyed the biscuits at breakfast. Only complaint is that I did NOT request no housekeeping, but they did not make the bed or exchange towels, they only dumped the trash.

Great room, easy parking (fee), comfortable bed, room was very clean. Our room on the 7th floor was quiet. Breakfast ok, better than most places. Missed the evening free snacks/beverages. Area seemed safe for parking. Overall a step above most chains.

The best hotel of our 10 day Minnesota vacation!

Our quiet was roomy and comfortable. We loved having the separate living space with TV. Complimentary cocktails (3 pp), dinner buffet 5:30-7 and great breakfast! Great if you have hungry kids! All staff were 5 STAR! Highly recommend.

A very clean property. When there was an issue with our room having the smoke detector blinking too much they offered to move us to a different room right away.

The room cleaning was not clean, and the bedsheets were uncomfortable because they were wet, not completely dry

Overall, it's a good hotel but I wouldn't choose to stay there again. It's clean, the rooms are nice, and it's conveniently located in downtown St. Paul. I was looking for a hotel that was within walking distance of Xcel Energy Center and this is less than a mile. The area, however, leaves a lot to be desired. Walking back at 10 pm was an adventure down poorly lit roads with lots of addicts and unhoused individuals. While we stayed safe, there were definitely some moments where we were approached by groups of people wanting money and we felt unsafe. Driving through the area at night is similar as many of the same people are wandering, sitting, or standing in the middle of the street. I sat through three lights at one point because I was unable to get around the people standing in front of the car. This isn't the hotel's fault but it's something to be aware of. What I didn't like about the hotel is that they charge for parking but don't have enough parking available. The first night I found a spot but then got blocked in by another guest because they just parked in the middle of the lot. The second night, even the fire lanes were full of parked cars and I had to park 2 blocks over. The only other issue was trying to get food for breakfast. As soon as they refilled any of the hot food, it was gone. They could not keep up with the demand so I ended up eating elsewhere. It's a lot of money to pay to not be able to use what you're paying for.
