It was my fault that I didn't read all of the policies, so I had booked this not knowing that they had a no locals policy. This means you cannot stay there if you live within a 40 mile radius. As hotels.com would not give me a refund, I called the property back and they said that they would accommodate me if I paid a $100 cash deposit, and we would get it back after they inspected the room. So I do appreciate the accommodation. The parking is very tight. Everything was clean. They have small breakfast - cereal, orange juice, muffins, breakfast bars, fruit. We surrounded by conveniences though. The receptionist though didn't really feel welcoming. Seem to be more skeptical of everybody that comes through the door. He went over a list of rules with us like we were teenagers or something - tobacco products on site, no alcohol, and don't make any noises because it's late. Other than that, the bed was very comfortable, and the shower was amazing. It had three different angled shower heads.

I stayed on the way back home from my vacation in Florida and you had the most comfortable bed i slept in the entire week and a half. My back was singing your praises! It was also extremely clean and quiet.

Property doesn't seems safe for the family

There were no lamps & the ceiling lights over the beds& bathrooms were too bright. 100 watt bulbs? Essentials but nothing extra.

We stayed here on our way to Atlanta to visit family. The staff were very friendly, the room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. We will definitely be back on our next trip!!

The room had some nice amenities such as the shower, but there were no lamps next to the bed and our sheets and comforter had stains on them. Also, the outside of the property is not well maintained.

For the price you cannot beat this hotel. The staff went above and beyond to make sure that everything went well. It’s a bit of a rough area, but not terrible.

I found this property perfectly adequate and affordable. The only small issue that I had was in the morning, while taking a shower, only hot water would come out at first. I don't know if they were filling the laundry with cold water or what, but it did eventually settle down to a tolerable level. Otherwise, I had a good experience at Athena Inn.

My favorite hotel in this area, reasonable price, room is alway clean and quiet.front desk is friendly and helpful. Strongly recommended.

It was a great place to stay! The breakfast is small and simple. Things to grab and go and cereal. But very nice to have and always well stocked. The staff is very nice and 💯 on top of things and making sure your stay is perfect. And the shower is amazing and has plenty of hot water! Very happy with my choice to book here!
