The hotel was very nice! It was situated in the middle of everything in the town. The staff were friendly and the rooms were clean. The room we stayed in had 2 queen beds, a large flat screen tv, coffee maker, mini fridge, and of course, a bathroom and closet. The hotel offered a free breakfast and a pool to. I'd definitely recommend staying here.
Short story: that first morning we were there, the car would not crank due to an old battery and 20 degree temperatures. A gentleman at the hotel; I think his name was Tim; ran into us outside and saw that we were having trouble. He stayed and offered a helping hand. He tried his own personal jump box to no avail. Then he got his own vehicle and got the car boosted off so we could get it to the auto store across the street. So a very big Thank You to him!!
There are still people out there that are willing to help you in anyway.
All in all; if I had to choose a place to stay, I'd definitely be going back to The Hampton Inn of Mount Airy!

This hotel looks run down on the inside. It was rated a 9.4, but to me it was more like an 8 or 7.5. The carpet in hallways was terribly stained and needs shampooed. The rooms were very dusty. There was wall paper peeling off the walls by the elevator.

Stopped in for one night to see the sights of Mount Airy with the fam. The room was clean, comfortable and the staff was friendly. We even enjoyed the breakfast the next morning. My husband usually doesn't eat it and pays to go somewhere else, but this time he did.

We arrived early, and was hoping to be able to check in, but if we couldn't, it was not a problem. They did have a room ready, and we took it. The front desk staff was always friendly during the entire stay. Room was very clean, and breakfast was very good.!

This hotel is very nice. Staff is friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. We really liked the shelf under the mirror in the bathroom to give you extra room for your personal products. The breakfast was really good. Would definitely stay here again.

Our room was spacious and the bathroom was spacious too. The air quality was excellent and was easy to adjust the temperature. Our breakfast was good and the choices were plentiful. And we appreciated that you had coffee available all day and night.
