Clean rooms and comfortable stay

Had a good stay at Fireside Inn. Would stay again. Was on the edge of main drag of town - about a 30min walk. 10min walk to the beach down a trail behind the inn. Only complaints were they minimally stock the Continental breakfast and rely on the guests to do an honor system of 1 item per guest. Twice the same family came through and wiped out almost everything before we could get food. Other was the room we were in was right in front of the lobby and we had to ask people in the lobby who were using the tables to be quieter so the kids could fall asleep. (it was 10pm and they were loouudd). Overall a good stay for the price. The staff was all incredibly friendly. They wash everything on the bed and you can tell. The decor is nice and everything feels really clean and new. We will absolutely stay again and just request a room on the end and not rely on the continental breakfast.

Comfortable and clean room. Loved the bed and pillows. Affordable and offers a free breakfast. Easy five minutes to walk to the beach and paved walkway. Very friendly staff. They also have a nice family outdoor area with some outdoor games.

We loved the ability to bring our dog, and the proximity to the beach and main shopping in Long Beach is awesome. Unfortunately, we heard every little noise in the lobby (ice machine, people coming in and out, walking to their rooms, etc...), we heard our neighbors conversations, shower, and television through the walls, no ability to control room temperature, and the electric fireplace made such a racket we turned it off. Even the coded lock to get into the room was loud!

We liked that it was quiet and clean. It had hood curb appeal. It had a modern decor and the room was a good size accept for the bathroom sink. There wasnt much counter space for 2 people. The bed was comfortable. It had a continental breakfast which was ok. Not really any hot food other than toast but enough for us. The only thing I didn't care for was the bistro type table and chairs in the food area. The chairs were tall and were very uncomfortable. Everything else about our stay was good. We would stay here again.

This place was fabulous with the only exception, “No Air conditioning”. The rest was great and we loved the outdoor fire pit area now with a bar and snack bar. Family friendly as well.

Love the decor in the rooms. Fresh and clean. The walls between rooms are a bit thin so easy to hear the loud non stop talking man next door until 11 pm.

I forgot my Bose headphones in my room and the staff called me about returning them to me. I gave them the info needed and they sent them to me through the mail. I thought that was very nice and honest. Very commendable.

Super clean and comfy. Impeccable customer service.
