Room is very nice. Location is good with nice park by the river right across the street. Also hotel has a restaurant and there are a few more that you can walk to.

Although the pictures of the room on your site indicated wooden floor and a nice place to relax outside… The resting area faced the parking lot…. And our room was carpeted (really not appreciated). The images were staged!!! However, quiet and you can open the window to compensate. Do not take the breakfast at Pacini…

It was quite simply put, the worst hotel room I have ever stayed at. I was given room 155 - a room located all the way at the back of the hotel! The room had a small window with black window blinds, black curtains and black wall!!! There was literally no rugs on the floor. There was a black chair which was in horrendous condition in one corner of the room. I went up to the front staff and asked for a better room and they said that it wouldn’t be possible to switch rooms. I have stayed at this hotel many times over the past 15 years and I know for a fact that they have nice rooms on the second floor and at the front of the hotel! The room I stayed had dull tiles in the living area and a different set of tiles in the bathroom. This is not how you treat a regular customer. Had they just switched me to another room, they would have received a good review as the rooms on the second floor have hardwood floors and newer furnishings. I wasn’t even particular about a queen sized bed. I was okay with a double bed as well. WORST HOTEL ROOM EVER!! It looked like some kind of a Gothic themed room and had the most appalling energy!!

Very basic room. Not even a closet or hooks. Noisy fan. Light by bed not working. No breakfast. No delivery of bill to the room causing delays.

Very run-down room, horrible couch and no furnishings. Very noisy heater and fridge. I wouldn’t recommend. It seemed everyone had a free breakfast but us. Pool was small and it didn’t smell great in there.

Basic room. Damage walls. Noisy heating system. Phone had flashing message light but front desk said no voice mail and could not stop the annoying red flash - had to fully disconnect the phone. Pricy for the area. Gold member but no upgrade offered despite many rooms available.

I booked a suite because it was larger and had a kitchen. We were on the second floor and there are no elevators. The room was quite far from the front desk. The room was quite spacious but only one small window so the room was quite dark. The room had 3 Murphy beds in it. The mattresses were thin and were on wood. It felt like a pull out couch mattress. So uncomfortable and poor sleep as a result. I was going to ask to switch rooms until a friend informed me their beds were the same. I didn’t bother. The bathroom was quite small but did have a rainfall shower, so it was decent. The vanity was tiny and you could not fit much on it, but there was a cabinet beside to place belongings. On the way out of our hotel, the morning of check out, we did see there were rooms down the hall with real mattresses, but those rooms were probably taken by the Saint John Sea Dogs as they were also staying in the hotel. I would not stay in this hotel again if I had a choice, and I cannot recommend it.

Not enough people making sure the hallways are quiet . A few sports teams were very loud late at night running around in the hallways and not enough people working to quiet them down, so unfortunately my family and I weren’t able to get some sleep until late at night.
