There are few options in Raton and this filled a need for an overnight stay. It's not going to impress with amenities, but our stay was acceptable.

We found clipped fingernails in our room. There was also hair clippings in the bathroom. The sheets had stains on them. The breakfast selections were very good.

The beds were so very comfortable, as were the pillows! They left free sandwiches, potato salad and dessert for guests that were free as well as items to purchase to use in the microwave in your room. Very much appreciated after a long day of travel.
The buffet breakfast was amazing !
Would definitely stay here again!

Got stuck in a blizzard and had to stay in Raton till the road reopened. This hotel was amazing. The staff were so sweet and helpful. The rooms were great. Clean and updated. Totally enjoyed our stay.

Staff did a great job handling a sudden rush of guests due to a highway closure. Everyone was very friendly and helpful!

The hotel recently changed owners, and displayed a sign hotel currently under renovations. My room was on the 1st floor, the bed was very comfortable and the linens were clean. The shower area had mold at the ceiling and the wall paper was starting to loosen, the bathtub had a chip in the enamel but it was smooth. Front desk checkin process was flawless and received excellent service from both clerks.
I explained the issues I found and the clerk said they would address them and the tub will need a complete replacement.

We love to stay here, they work with us when we bring our service dogs and we have not had a bad stay here ever! Keep up the great work! All staff is great!

Very friendly staff. Older hotel, needs updating very badly. The entry doors on the sides are very narrow and the roll carts they supply for luggage wont even fit through them. They do allow pets and you will deal lots of barking. I felt like I was staying at the pound. For the price there are several more better options nearby.

The property was conveniently located. Provides sandwiches, chips, salad and fresh fruit for their customers in the evening. Our room was extra large and quiet. Breakfast was wonderful. Good variety and we especially like the fresh pancake machine.

Room was mostly clean. Some hair in the bathroom, stains on towels, a little musty. WILL NOT GIVE MILITARY OR VETERANS DISCOUNT UNLESS YOU BOOK MORE THAN 24 HRS IN ADVANCE. Staff is quirky but nice and helpful.

Corner of fitted sheet & pillow case had blood stain, carpet had stains near air conditioner. A bath towel had muddy footprint stains. Desk clerk stated only $40.00 would be removed from charge.

Front desk people were very welcoming and polite. Our room was very good. Beds were extremely comfortable walking around in the morning. They had a fire pit outdoor seating and a swing area.
