They clean the room every 3 days unless you request it. Why should I have to request it when the hotel next door gets cleaned everyday? The lady at the desk also made me bring my own towels down to get new ones. Why should I have to bring my own towels down? What is the maid getting paid for?

The room smelled horrible, we requested to to change the room but that room also smelled terrible as if the bug spray was sprayed all over the room even on the bed sheets.

The lady that checked us in and worked at night was amazing, however the lady that came in and worked the day shift was so rude to my 13 eat old daughter and then to me. They would not refill the waffle mix at breakfast and were extremely rude about it. I work in the public and the day that I start being rude to customers I will go home because without customers you do not have a job. I honestly couldn’t get over them not refilling the waffle mix because thay is what everyone got and it was put about an hour after breakfast started. Other than that we had a great stay but because of her I do not know if we will be back again.

We arrived at 4:15 for a 3:00 check in and room was not ready so we had to wait in lobby for 45 min which would not have been a problem but the desk clerk was unfriendly and rude she was more interested in her cellphone than anything else. The room was clean and comfortable though.

The first night we had a dog barking accross the hall all night, there were not supposed to be pets and the owner was out gambling all night. Staff said there was nothing they could do. I touched a wall and it caved in due to the drywall being sogging. I told the frint desk and they were not surprised. The room was dirty, the body wash was empty, a lamp shade was broken and leaning against the wall. I feel this is rediculous fir a $130/night room. We cut our stay short because we couldnt stay there any longer. It was labor day so nothing else was available, so we went home early.

Most everything was ok.
The bact tub has NO now skid on the bottom. I slipped a couple of time. I did catch myself. My wife was NOT able to get a bath for that reason. I asked about a handy cap room on check in but was told that they were all taken. There were onlt 6 cars in the handy cap parking. Surely they had more then 6 rooms for handy cap. PLEASE let me know. Other then that all was ok.
OH, The towlet ran all night and the door safety lock was missing.

This is my 2nd stay at a Wynngate Hotel. I thought by it being years apart in a different state, things would be better. NO!!! The rooms smelled musty & moldy. 1 of my 4 rooms, the lock was broken. Another room to floor was taped. The breakfast was terrible. No towel or no clean room service at all. I'm hearing hotels are doing this type of thing now. I will definitely not stay at another Wynngate ever again.

The biggest issue was the AC in the room could not keep up with MS humidity. The room was always damp and sticky and would smell musty every time the AC turned on. And don't even try to dry any swimsuits or towels. They would stay wet for over 24 hours, which them added to the musty smell even more. We had to find a place to go wash and dry them ourselves because it was so bad.
Floor in the room and the hallway had soft spots, likely where the subfloor was rotting out due to the moisture.
Every outlet in the room was half ripped out of the wall because the drywall was so compromised due to the humidity as well.
Don't be late for breakfast, as once it's in the final hour, they don't replace anything, so you get what's left, if there is anything left.
Had to ask for plasticware both days we ate something for breakfast, because they didn't keep them stocked.
Pool was ok. Nothing special, but clean and in good repair. That was the one plus.

Do not waste your money and book here. I read the reviews after I booked so it was too late to cancel. Also , read the reviews first. Its a true testament to the reality

We enjoyed our stay for 3 day vacation. It is a 10 min drive to the beach and their pool was always clean. One nice feature I've never seen at other hotels is a pool chair for people with disabilities. It was nice to see inclusion of others.

The shower / tub with jets, and bathroom was amazing. The room was clean, and the bed was nice. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and even gave us extra towels when we asked for them.

The lobby, check in staff and everything was okay. Our room however, looked very clean and nice, but it smelled like mold. We stayed on the second floor and the mildew smell in the room was so overwhelming we had to spray perfume to not have a headache. Like it had just rained for a year inside the room and it was moldy. We ended up not sleeping in the room for other reasons but I feel like if we had we would have all been sick shortly after due to mildew/mold
