Hotel entrance is very tight for your car. I was put in a room on the outside of the hotel. First night room was freezing and was told the heaters are on a timer but was given an electric plug in heater. I left early in the morning and as not in the main part had to walk round the outside of the main hotel by the road to come back in the car park. Not great especially if raining. Staff were very friendly

I Stay here regularly for work, and it is always a pleasure. Very friendly staff and a good breakfast!

we were supposed to have booked a compact room but they gave us what is advertised as their single room. The bed is not fit dor a couple. We are very slim people and had an awfully uncomfortable night The room has iron board , good hair dryer and coffee facilities .A definite no no !

An oasis near the centre of Taunton - All I needed was a beer, some food and a very comfy bed after a hard day and they obliged in ample measure. Although the chef count was down to one through an absence they still managed to rustle up a nice meal (thanks guys). The bed was huge and the room nice and large. Breakfast was ample.
All in all it was what we all seek but find it hard to discover these days - Good Value.

Satisfactory stay. The positives were that it was close to the town, 10 min walk and a 5 min walk to Vivary park, which was where we needed to go for the concerts.
The staff were nice, parking was a great convenience and only £5 a day.
We had a cosy comfort room, over the reception desk, unbeknown to us this was where all the deliveries came in so we were woke at 6:30am on a bank holiday Monday by deliveries and a lot of noise from the main road. The next morning was a bit later, 8:30 so not so bad.
The room could have done with a freshen up, it was tired and not the cleanest but passable. The bed was only a double but it was comfortable and clean. The shower was very hot and difficult to adjust the temperature and the bath was very slippery.
All in all a nice place, happy to stay 1/2 nights. Glad I had gift vouchers though as wouldn’t have been too happy about paying £170 myself.
I would recommend asking for a room over looking the rear car park, as it would be quieter.

Great location. Parking was easy. Room was affordable and great value compared to others (on a bank holiday weekend). Staff were friendly. Very clean. Easy check out.
Only slight downside… room was up a flight of stairs and no lift although a member of staff did offer to help with my bags.

I very much enjoyed my one night stay at the Corner House Hotel in Taunton. Everything was excellent - the best overall standard I have experienced in the last ten years and many hotel stays.

Old and new buildings together to make the max amount of rooms serviced by the facilities. The car park has a restricted entrance which is great for car drivers, some of them leaving paint on the wall on leaving. It’s nice being in a hotel without vans, purely my view, snobbish l no but hey you asked me.

Liked- fridge in room. Proper milk in a bottle.
Disliked- no bedside table for one person. No light switch by bed. Room a bit cramped for 2.
